My friend just got this item and it is a huge upgrade to his dps if your are a fearl druid and this drops i advise loesing your grip on ur dkp and picking this sweet item up.

this is the best tanking chest for druids, best cat DPS chest aswell. If any rogue or warrior took this from a druid, i would kill him.

this item gives a druid in dire bear form 1890,6 armor, 264 hp (hotw)
this item gives a druid in cat form 96 AP and 2% crit

all of this means that this piece is outstanding for a feral druid and shouldn't be given to some other class, they have their own class sets instead.

I don't understand. Rogues want agi for crit. This chest piece gives enough attack power, crit, and well stamina to be a great rogue item. BUT...

It's not a set piece. Obviously a feral druid won't go for a healing set, unlike rogues who could just pick up their class sets. That's what makes this a druid item.

Definately a nice feral piece, and only a feral piece to be perfectly honest. I've read a couple of forum posts sayin this is not for druids or rogues even. I could get angry at greedy or just moronic warriors sayin it was built for them etc to dps, but I won't, I say, what would Jesus do? So I set em on fire and send them to hell. Well would like to lol.
This item screams feral druid, there are plenty of other plate dps pieces in Naxx etc that I've seen on the new items list on thott, and being plate = no competition from druids, and in the case of horde, not even paladins are there to roll on plate, so get over it. I wouldn't restrict rogues from this item totally, but I would ask them to consider the fact their set piece is designed for dps (well it should be anyway lol). And agi is always better for a rogue anyway imo, but as I said, wouldn't restrict it from a rogue. Just a heads up though rogues, winning this may earn the hate of any of feral druids raiding with you hehe. =D

Even though this CAN be good for a warrior who is not taking a whole lot of physical dps, a warrior should NEVER bid dkp/take this over a druid. This chest is orgasmic for a feral druid, and only ok to pretty good for a dps warrior. Warriors, if noone wants, go ahead and take. If a feral druid wants though, please pass.

Hey....Boxerz and jayleno....guess what? I am feral and my guild is on Nef currently and i go on every single raid. No druids in pve? wrong. This chest is my goal, and to say that there are no feral druids in high-end pve is a stupid thing to say. It is NOT ok to take this over a druid (even a resto druid if he wants). Well i probobly shouldnt let it bother me since your guild is most likely on lucifron.

I apologise on behalf of all rogues for the idiot above me - he has no clue about the rogue class....

I am not even in my tier1 and I can see this is not a rogue chest piece, why...

a) Str is king for Druids, agil is king for Rogues
b) The armour is clearly devised with a druid in bear form in mind
c) look at all the other items for rogues out there which don't come from the highest level dungeon in the game, e.g.

BF - 38AP, 17 Stam, 2% crit (almost), 2% hit
NS - 39AP, 20 stam, 2% crit
Zandalar - 44AP, 19 stam, 2% crit
Deathdealer - 56AP, 28 stam, 2.5% crit, 1% hit

even some of the blue pieces for rogues come close to this for AP OR Crit... whereas Druid's have nothing this and vest of swift execution (where there is possibly more of an arguement)

Finally,

d) look at the equivalent item for rogues in Nax... Bonesycthe - 80AP, 29 Stam, 2% crit, 1% hit....

there is no comparison, let this go to a druid (unless they don't want it) and get one of the other pieces which are a damn site easier to get.

I just want to say that no, not all guilds are close-minded enough to force their players into a "raid" spec. I am a cookie cutter feral druid in my guild and we are doing fine. In fact I just wanted to mention that I just got this last Thursday.

We were clearing trash mobs on the way to Raz, and it just fell of a death knight. I almost had a heart attack. My guild leader gave it to me without any discussion because he realized that it should go to druids before rogues. If you think that he was being unfair, he is a rogue also and would have loved to get that chest.

I�m not trying to mention this to brag or anything, but for people to constantly say that druids should only heal is somewhat close-minded. I love to heal, and that�s what I do as we are learning Naxx. I have no intention of trying to DPS until we are a little more comfortable in here, this is only our second week. But if I only wanted to be a healer I would have made a priest so please don�t try to pigeon hole our class. There are guilds that do Naxx with feral druids and they are successful. You should all encourage your guild members to be dynamic and know how to perform different roles.

if u earn the hate of druids, u ll probably ended up diein quicker, it happens to my guildmate that ended up payin way lots more G in repair cost before and after.

choice is urs, consider. coz druid can say: who care abt ur ass, u dont tank XP, u r dps and u took my sh*t.

i happen to have a 60 rogue and a druid who is currently 53. my druid is feral/balance ONLY, and i can honestly say after playing both classes that this is an entirely druid chestpiece (considering the gear you need to be in naxx in the first place). im not gonna lie, my rogue isnt all that well geared (i stopped working on it until the patch came out, and even then my druid is much more fun i find) but my current chest:

Naxx trash mob drop. We got it off of one of the first pulls in the Abom wing.

After all that time in AQ, it was somewhat annoying that the first drop that we got in that instance was feral druid loot.

If your guild has any commen sence they give this first to druids then rogue's and then its DKP for wich ever class wants it first.

Its best for feral druids who will pwn with it and for rogue's its nice 2 because of the 2% crit chance but it misses agi for it. then for all the other classes Go and get about the same item in your own armor class or wait till none of the druids or rogue's want it

As it stands, this is the best pure Enhancement Shaman chest in the game; I picked it up yesterday off of a Gargoyle in the Necro wing. The armor is as high as mail, so you don't lose anything in that area.

Blizzard spams Feral and Balance druid loot, but only Elemental loot for Shaman.

Dropped from a ghoul while trash farming. it's not a bad piece for warriors about equal conquerors chest maybe a bit better as a pure DPS item, Plated Abomination Ribcage is obviously better than either of those though.
