I dearly love this wand. Best healing wand in the game (as I write this), unless my memory is badly wrong. It's an excellent reward for priests who have put up with the raid's insults while they practiced tanking with mind controlled understudies. :-)

The stats on this wand make using the +healing green wands anymore rather silly imo o.O

I agree with the OP in that this is the best healing wand in the game, and a reasonably easy to acquire alternative (which I use atm) is the Antenna of Invigoration

This is one of the best healing wands in the game, anda frequent drop from the instructor. As it stands it is a level 83 level wand, which well..*pat pat* I hope not to replace it in TBC very quick.

The true thing I love about this wand is.
A. Speed: 1.5, excellent for wanding for mana! very fast :)
B. Damage: 119-222 Shadow Damage. Which is quite a bit compaired to most wand in it's area and level.
C. Superior stats. With a 10 int, 9 spirit, and plus 22 to heal, this is merely the best of all worlds.

This is an essential wand to get for any player that is looking to be any real threat when BC comes out. This wand is by far the best for any priest/mage combo since the equip effect is far superior to that of any other item in game. I play a priest and this wand not only does an enormous amount of damage in PVP (since it is shadow) but it also adds a nice healing done. Ever little bit counts. Tricky part to this is getting in a Naxx raiding guild which is much more common on a larger server, but just post as much as you can on guild recruitment websites and you should be on your way!

I got it on our first instructor kill. Really nice! Spirit and +healing. Int won't hurt either. One other thing is that it does shadow damage, no bosses are really shadow immune so you can wand for mana on anything. Used to have the problem with crimson shocker. It had nice fire resist, but fire bosses were also fire immune so you couldnt wand them for mana after that one patch.

The dps is a nice bonus, it crits for over 300. I tried to kill mobs in epl and they died to just the wand before my shield broke.

For warlocks? Are you insane? No guild would let mages or warlocks bid on this and why would they? spirit and +healing. What would they do with it? You rather buff your ego with epics than increase effectiveness of your priests, the ones who keep you alive? You will never make it to Naxx with that attitude. And to the comment about increasing priest dps that is totally useless. Priests dont dps in raids just when they solo. The good thing with wands are the stats and the fact that you can get mana from judgment of wisdom when you are not casting.

Yeah a glowstar rod of healing has more +healing; but the 10 int and 9 spirit is nice. This wand is really cool though. I get wand crits with it for 350 (and i'm not spec'd into +25% wand damage . . .yet)

Just some background information about the post of looda: One of the biggest German fansites posted a news, that Instructor Razuvious had been killed on a German realm, and that he dropped this wand with "sagenhaften 113.7 dps". "Sagenhaft" means as much as fabulous or phenomenal, so looda made fun of this news, since, as we all know, nobody really gives &*!@ about dps on wands. Only problem: he did it here instead of on the fansite that posted the news, so the context got lost, and a ... strange answer appeared right away.

Anyway, nice stats on this wand =)
