Considering the change to weaponskill, this becomes of best daggers in game. Slow, good raiding stats, high top end. The spread is wider then one would hope, but again, the top end makes up for it. It isn't impossibly hard to get and the drop rate is fair. Seeing as DPS is so crucial in Naxx, consider what kind of godly mainhand this could be, as opposed to a statstick.

Rogue weapon I'd say, might be good for dps warriors but don't give to hunters!

A mainly rogue oriented weapon, Maexxna's Fang is one of the most lethal daggers in the World of Warcraft. This dagger, while not as powerful as Kingsfall, still has a pretty mean bite. If used correctly, by a dagger rogue of course, then the wielder could be in the top 10 of all DPS charts that are non-ranged damage oriented. This weapon, while still a rogue weapon, might also be considered for hunters. That is, of course, if there is not a rogue that wants this dagger. The attack power and stamina of this dagger would help a hunter. The hit%, however, would not.

Great dagger for rogues.

With the change to weapon skill this is almost exactly on par with Death's Sting with a much kinder drop rate.

This is only a rogue or warrior dagger....a hunter who grabs this is a moron because there are TONS of better items you can get for small stat increases instead of getting in the way ofa dagger rogue or fury warrior's DPS.

Mmm, what about a survival hunter? I've seen decently geared survival hunters out melee some Rogues in equal gear. I guess it all boils down to your perception of what is good or bad for your own character. All in all though, it IS an awesome dagger and will cause a lot of havok.

Is it just our (bad or good, depending on your class) luck or does this thing drop way more than it says here. So far in 16 Maexxna kills we've gotten 12 of these and only 4 wraith blades.

got it as a warrior ^^
there was one rogue who wanted it so it would have been his, but he had a dc before the fight and relogged after, so he wasnt in the loottable ^^
i got it for min-dkp, beeing a trial in the guild, the other rogues were too greedy to spend dkp ^^

his one dropped one week later though ;-D

With the Death's Sting and Maexxna's Fang there is nothing u cant rip apart. That GOES for plate wear's just cheap shot BS BS kidney shot BS BS SS and gather up Combo Points. if u start 2 lose just blind shot and holt alt and click bandage so u dont lose combat points and finish him. even full wrath warriors should be dead! and guys wont rogues be way overpowered when lvl 70 legendary/artifact daggers come into play? i mean i always saw a movie of a rogue criting 4000+ (personally im a mega rogue van and they are the melee dmg dealers but the dmg they can diss out now is putting even warriors at risk of 1 hit ok's)here this link already in Death's Sting but it proves my point http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=648262298032191824&q=burn theres 1 part he kills a warrior/priest and a mage without losing half hp!

He aint even using this dagger but he using Pugio which would be replaced for this im sure and he only has a 5/5 set epic with the Bone Scy this dmg will be nothing.
