Nice cloth head with a reasonable amount of stamina, intellect, plus damage and healing, and finally some resists. Well rounded item worth wearing in many situations. It's not a very attractive piece, however, so I uncheck 'Show Helm' in Interface Options when I wear it. Sadly my variety is "...of Frost Resistance," which is not very valuable to me as I do not raid Frost-based dungeons. I suppose it helps against all the raiding frost mages in BG's, but I honestly don't notice a difference.

Whats with the bind on this thing. A friend has one and it doesnt bind at all. She can trade it to me, i can wear it and then trade it back. Is this just a bug or is it on all of them?

When I previewed this on my undead mage, it looked like a purple hood. Oddly, my mage's mohawk stuck out through the top of the hood. It looks cool with my mage's purple mohawk, but it would probably look pretty stupid with some of the other possible hair styles...

They made all of these now BOP so if you have it you should be stuck with it now. I got the Fire resist one, no one else wanted to roll. I was thinking are ya'all freakin nuts? But it was good for me.

had to pass on this with the 15 FR enchant the other day, i grabbed the damn FR cloak the emberseer drops.

The FR chant version is the best blue headpiece you can take to MC, bloody nice. One of the few times ive wished i had no conscience and could just ninja it :/

Won this baby with +14 FR on it today! But then the Master Looter gives it to a HUNTER who didn't even roll for it ! I'm a warlock and I needed that very bad for MC !
Then he didn't answer when we asked him what the hell he was doing ....

I got this with +15 fire resistance. Im going to get another 20 fire resistance to it with lesser arcanum of focus.

The FR version dropped the last two nights I ran UBRS. Lost first night, won last night. That is not the graphic anymore though, just looks like a cool looking purple cowl! Nice for MC with +15 FR on top of damage.

Did a run, guildie was ML, FR hat drops. He passes it to some guy with a tier 2 cap, great.

This is a NICE hat for lvl 55, Can anyone tell me one thats actually better before lvl 60 for a warlock on a pvp server?

I am so happy with my +14 NR Dragonskin Cowl! Only one who needed it. NOw I have 71 NR just from blues/greens.

I highly doubt this is going to stay BoE as a static drop. Get these and sell them off while you can, because I HIGHLY doubt Blizzard is going to leave this BoE. It's to easy to get to Gyth, even in a 10 man group, and these drop way to frequently to not completely screw up the server economies. Stats + Damage/Healing + 14-15 resistance make this more desireable than some of the epic head pieces that you have to go through a TON more to get your hands on.

I just bought the FR baby for 200g (and trade stuff for 100g).

Gonner put 20FR on it and it's insane for rag, vael etc. :)
