This is one of the best hunter waists in game, I would even say that it is better than the T-2 waist. It has it all: crit, hit, and agility. I'm not sure if it was updated with +AP for WoW 2.0.

No this wasnt updated for WoW2.0. As it stands now dragonstalker belt is better then Ossirian binding. I have no idea why Blizzard decided not to upgrade this belt to match our 1agi=1rap change.

Warpwood is the best non epic belt in the game for a hunter. You don't have to have epics to be running MC or ZG (otherwise what would be the point), and if this is from AQ 20, which it seems to be since it has a lower lvl than dragonstalker, then it will be easy to get with such gear.

There are very few bosses that are gear dependant instead of skill, being why our guild has cleared all of MC except Rag in under a month starting with maybe 5 epics out of all 40 of us, and giving Might to MT as it dropped.

Just b/c some of you starting playing the game when it came out and have better gear doesn't make you better players, which is why I regularly beat people in mostly epic gear in duels or BG.

Translation: Undoubtedly better, but keep GS for FR gear

vs. DS
-13 armor, +4 sta, -3 int, -11 spr, +1% hit
Translation: roughly equal, as the 1% hit more than offsets any lost armor and intellect (who cares about spirit, anyhow?) However, this is not taking into account set bonus buffs, and therefore this belt should be used in between GS and DS.

At least someone figured out the true deserver of this belt. IMO, better than DS, whether you are using it for PvE or PvP. +1% to hit is big DPS, especially against bosses.

There are some shamen who don't care about endgame raids (outside of PuGs that won't force you to be a certain spec)... Everybody always says that shamen shouldn't roll on melee/offensive spell gear because they are just healers, but they miss the point that most shamen that raid are raiding to get the gear for their chosen endgame spec (more often than not elemental or enhancement), even if they have to respec restoration to get these items.

Enhancement shamen are awesome in PvP. This is a PvP item when it comes to shamen. Of course you wouldn't use this to raid, why would anybody think that? Raiding isn't the only endgame content in World of Warcraft. Personally I think that people should feel free to spend DKP/Roll on items that they want to use for PvP even if its not the same role they fill in raiding, since for the most part this is what they're raiding to get in the first place.

Besides, in things as simple as 20-man raids you can afford shaman DPS, and they often do very well on the DPS charts (I'm usually 1st-3rd on the charts for trash, and somewhere on the top 10 even when I offheal during boss fights). 31/0/20 elemental shaman, lightning crit spec for PvP. Gear from 40-mans isn't worth respeccing resto, I'd rather wear blues than play a spec I don't enjoy for months at a time. I enjoy the raiding content, but the role I want to fill is not a role that is possible to fill in 40-man raids. Things look bright for shaman filling their appropriate hybrid roles in BC though, Blizzard has been dropping a lot of hints.

So,

Passed on the bracers of brutality to a buddy that is T2 complete, and was coming along for kicks. Somehow I ended up with this belt since the 2 hunters that came either already had it or had the nef belt? (beats me...I ignore anything off of nef that is mail)

So yeah, I'm a paladin running around with this belt. Don't get to use it much, but it makes me chuckle every time I equip this. Amazing what happens when you spend more time busy at pew pew, and less time on a forum QQ'ing.

I would really like this for my shaman. cant believe everyone is like "hunter hunter PALA :/" when enhancment shamans benefit from agi+sta+int+hit+crit aswell?
