Picked this up as a DPS Warrior/Off-Tanking ring, as the +22 Agi provides about +1% to crit and dodge, but it works equally well for many classes and the roles they play.

Hmm.. well yeah im a hunter, i have never been to BWL, and pretty much hvae just started out on MC with my guild, but, if we ever were to get to BWL, i would gladly pass this on to rogues, by then i would prolly have a much better ring for my class. Plus, even though it does have alot of agilty on it that could benefit me, all the strength that is also on it would go to waste, which woudl be useful to rogues or maybe a DPS warrior. But yeah to me... i wouldnt roll on this unless no one wanted, which would be HIGHLY unlikely........

This may be the best ring for DPSing in cat form now in the game. (Depending on how valuable 1% hit is to you, only Might of Cenarious might be better)

Dont know what yall smokin hehe but a war gets 24ap, 1.1%crit, 1.1%dodge, 44armor, 90hp from this ring.

Depends on your guild as to who gets to roll on what, as for myself I would love this ring as a crit ring.

One of the coolest things about endgame is that classes get priority over certain items and its extremely rare that anything gets ninjad. That said I'm prety sure this is a Rogue first item.

This ring is not all that great for a rogue (this coming from a rogue). This would better suit a hunter or feral druid. Rogues get <30 AP from this. It would be easier just to go get a +40 ring from ZG. +it adds more stamina. This would probably help a feral druid (the rare allowance in some guilds) much more than any rogue. So rogues, don't bid...let the hunters and druids use their dkp

Feral druid here, got mine last week or the week before. It is currently the best dps ring available for cat form followed by the Might of Cenarius.

i think, it's a generaly melee-ring...my list would be:

1. Rogue
2. Hunter/Warrior

(btw. i'm a hunter - but i relize, when an item is more for another class then for the other ;))

Feral druid here, got the ring a few weeks back and I'm loving it. This is the best cat dps ring currently in the game. Combine this with a Might of Cenarius and I will be very happy.

yea the agil is nice for hunters seeing that it gives 44 ranged atk power and about .4% chance to crit. but with the strength on this i really thinnk rogues should have priority on it. btw i'm a hunter

Great for Rogues, Hunters, Off- Warriors and Feral Druids. A druid will get the most out of it stat wise, but then again, many raid group will not allow them to bid : /

The strength means that
1. feral druids* get the most out of it (2.4 AP/str), followed by
2. fury warriors (2 AP/str and good use for AP),
3. other warriors (2 AP/str),
4. combat rogues (1 AP/str),
5. dagger rogues (1 AP/str, but more focus on other things but AP),
6. marksman hunters (no RAP/str) and finally
7. survival hunters (no RAP/str, should look most for agi).

But in fact, the improvement depends much more on what they are using previously.

And after all, I hope that dkp decides who gets this item...

*: Note that rank 13 ferals are worth a lot in PvE if they are good players. Furthermore, they'll get a catform aggro reduction in 1.12.

as a rogue, yes this is a very nice ring. I woudl want one. But if the MT wanted it ide let him have it over me becasue IMO this is comparable to Painweavers Band for me at least. Im content with the higher crit chance provided by that ring and don julios.

For non-tanks, this is a #$%^ty version of Quick Strike Ring.
For PvE purposes, I probably wouldn't wear this over a Tarnished Elven Ring as a Hunter, Rogue or Fury Warrior. Especially not as a Hunter, that's for sure.
Tbh, I'd say give this to a Warrior Tank if they have nothing better. Feral Tanks is the second option, mostly because Druids prefer Armor rings for tanking, or high Stamina on their items. This ring provides neither, but it does provide a lot of the other good stats that Druids usually strive for.

If you are doing Loot Council for this, I'd say give this to a Warrior Off-Tank/Main-Tank. I might even say Off-Tank prio, you probably want your Main Tank to have higher tier stuff such as Band of Accuria, so throw the Off-Tanks a bone and give them this nice stats ring.

I wrote a comment a while ago about this ring. Stemming from both the responses that comment has received and from my newly gathered experience of playing WoW Classic since then, I've changed my assessment of this ring.

Previously, I was pretty firm about my stance that this should be an off-tank ring and you can see my reasoning in my previous comment. However, a lot of my logic in said comment was rather flawed, and I would like to pin this on a bias that stuck with me for a long time due to the class I chose to roll on the first day of classic. I had never realised until much later, how many people struggle to remove hit from their gear with limited options to do so, the reverse of the predicament I've been in for months, that of having barely any good hit gear that I could reasonably wear.

This ring fills a very interesting niche. It is not quite as good as QSR, but it isn't that much worse. Add on top of this the fact that most, if not all, of the other good rings available in the raid tier that this comes out in happen to have hit on them. These facts combined make this a very desirable option for Hunters and DPS Warriors that are trying to lose redundant hit on their gear, in addition to being a nice tank ring. I encourage you to read the responses that Aadas and Stratosis posted on my previous comment.

As I am posting this comment, it is currently phase 4 and Hunters have access to the ZG set. Regarding loot policy, most guilds prio that set to Hunters, but in a guild that does not do this, I would not blame any Hunter for taking Circle of Applied Force from a Warrior. And even in a guild that does, there is a lot to be said about Hunters in relationship to this ring.

My renewed conclusion is that it is a pretty non-controversial stance to make this ring Warrior prio (with spec being mostly irrelevant) with Hunters being taken into account only in certain contexts.
