God, no one comments on some of the best blue's. Thuzadin's sash is one of the best pieces of equipment for a lock/mage looking for a balance between stats and +damage.

I don't see people wearing this either, it boggles the mind. This isn't a hard piece to get, and since Baron runs are so damn popular it's almost guaranteed that every caster is going to have a chance at this at some point. Yet I still see so few, if any people wearing it.

In its place I see bad blue set pieces. Sets, especially blue sets, are not there hear all/end all.

Next time you're in Baron strath and this drops when you're clearing the ziggurauts, for the love of god, BID, and USE! You shall not be dissapointed.

Great item for high level casters that don't have a set belt yet. Balanced stats with spell damage bonus. Not a very rare drop.

I have to agree with Oceaniax, this is easily the best blue belt in the game for mages, only comparable with the Stormpike Cloth Girde/Frostwolf Cloth Belt, and it all depends on which you want more, the extra damage or extra mana regen.

This isn't something you replace with magister's. This is something you replace magister's with.

I suppose it's a good thing most mages go for the magister's thing, but you don't do much damage with it. I have about +250 spell damage, as compared with, what, 28 on magister's? I have all blues, almost all +damage, and my damage per mana bar is comparable to a mage with no damage bonuses having about 8000 mana. Frostbolt hits for about 680 on average. I have about 6.5 K mana, less if I switch Magister's for Freezing Lich robes. But it's a very. very rare fight when I run out of mana, rarer still when my ruby and evocation aren't enough to make it better.

I suppose in a boss fight in MC, you might go through 7.5 K mana. So store magister's for that. Otherwise, +damage is the way to go, unless you want to be behind the damn rogue on the damage meter.

Being a frost mage I have to put up with the BS of there being armor types (waste and pants in particular) that DO NOT COME IN +FROST VARIETY! That being the case I'm forced to either get a pair of frostweave pants (noob gear) or stick with my magister's pants (nice int and sta), however I'm screwed when it comes to belts, so when this doodad dropped in strat the other day I was pretty damn happy. :)

I'm not sure how much +damage I currently have, but my frostbolts average for 700 and with my shatter build my crits range from 1350-1550.

What do you mean no one uses it. Check the number of profiles wearing it lol - 1000+.

I definitely wear this :) And I do agree with the guy who gave the first comment. It rules. End game non raid gear.

Finally dropped after 20+ runs and I had to roll against a mage and a shadow priest. They rolled a 20 and 40+ while I hit a 70+. It was ment to be.

Ive been through Strath at least 20+ times and it has dropped at least 50% of the time. I got it the first drop when everyone dismissed it as Garbage and called me a noob for wanting it. =)

The Abyssal Cloth belt is better than this(only thing this belt has on it is the spirit, which most mages don't need much of anyway), and it's BoE, not too expensive. If you can manage it, get that over this belt.

I'm a priest will all +healing gear... Currently stuck my Devout in my inventory in favour of this.

Allthough a bit more +heal/dmg on it would be nice.

Not JUST a mage/lock item.

Got it on my Lock's first Baron run. I already have Dreadmist, as did the other lock, but he passed it to me straight-out. o_O Lucky for me he doesn't realize that this > blue set belts.

indeed, acc. to stats, BS belt drops far more often then this. Done 7 Strat runs now, and so far i believe this thing dropped every run, with no BS belt yet :(

I got this on a run a saw the BS belt drop while on my 3rd run in strat. Won the belt on a green roll. Sold on Bronzebeard Ah for 104g. This thing has only dropped 2 times since ive done strat and i have been quite a few times.
