The Arcanum of Rapidity is a quest reward.

In order to get one, a prerequisite is Elven Legends (https://www.wowhead.com/classic/quest=7481 for the Horde and https://www.wowhead.com/classic/quest=7482 for Alliance) which involves going to the Library and inspecting a skeleton near Lorekeeper Lydros.

In order to get the Arcanum you will need
1x Libram of Rapidity (https://www.wowhead.com/classic/item=18332)
1x Blood of Heroes which spawns in WPL and EPL (https://www.wowhead.com/classic/object=176213)
2x Large Brilliant Shard
1x Pristine Black Diamond (https://www.wowhead.com/classic/item=18335)

If you need this for a +10 NR enchant, you have to go to the northeast corner of ZG where you will find Zanza the Restless. I can't say what it's like to solo him as I've never done it but he will give you a Savage Guard when you give the Arcanum, to do whatever you want with it ;>

Does haste rating n this affect only melee or does it also affect spell haste as well?

Now, how about someone telling us how useful this "enchant" is? I'm a rogue, and I'm wondering if I should get this or the eight agi... probably gonna go with the eight agi.

All "haste" enchants are bugged ATM, they only increase the melee speed.

I spent a LOT of gold to find that out :(

I got the libram of rapidity and i cant get the Q from the Lokekeeper why?

Okay ive done some research for this quest and i ran into a problem where i couldnt turn in the libram along with the rest of the mats for the arcanum of rapidity, sooo. In order to turn in any of the libram quests you have to finish a quest line called "ELVEN LEGENDS". It starts in feathermoon, talk to a chick who is wondering the paths and she will give you a quest that allows you to interact with the bones next to lorekeeper lydros after you finish this quest line you than will be able to talk to lorekeeper lydros and get the libram quests for your enchant whether it be a DM enchant or ZG enchant

Now that ZG no longer requires these books for main enchants, they are soo cheap on the ah. I expect them to go up again since they can be used to make a NR enchant for AQ40 raids.

use all + haste items/enchants on ice barbed spear and u will on like no other muther

This enchant does not affect casting time, so if you're a caster your better off getting a different enchant.

For a 19 Twink rogue it adds over 7% speed improvement. Quite nice.

You need to do the quest and such as a 60 or whatever, then enchant it on a BOE item (ie goggles) and give it to them. I didn't test it in the trade window, but enchanting my twink's goggles which were new (boe) worked. Sent it via mail.

I didn't test to see what it does (if anything) for the rogue's shoot ability, but hopefully it could reduce the cast or cooldown times. I haven't tested it though.

I do notice an improvement in my assassin's blade hits.

This does not affect spells.

You can carry multiple of those in your inventory compared to libram book which you can carry only one.
