This trinket is easily attainable with some light raiding (10-mans) in UBRS. It's one of the rewards for the Onyxia quest line for both factions. This is a good trinket to have; you'll be using it for a long time until you progress into high-end instances such as BWL.

The Horde start the chain with an LBRS quest from Kargath and eventually need to kill Rend Blackhand.

Alliance players must kill Overlord Wyrmthalak (last boss of LBRS) for a quest-starting drop which leads to a UBRS quest to kill General Drakkisath.

There is a new quest reward item at like level 61 in TBC, which is 2% crit (I think like 26 crit rating) and 280ish attack power when used.

This will replace that for me.

The quest is Cruel's Intentions (https://www.wowhead.com/classic/quest=10136 ), the item is Bladefist's Breadth (https://www.wowhead.com/classic/item=28041 ).

Equip: Improves critical strike rating by 26.
Use: Increases attack power by 200 for 15 sec.

At times you wonder why this trinket was never made epic. I see so many people using it in PvE and PvP. It's pretty much the staple rogue trinket. If you don't have this, it's so easy to get, it's not even funny.

I've seen many rogues carry both tis and Bladefist's Breadth (https://www.wowhead.com/classic/item=28041) at the same time. Will probably be going back to BRS just to get this once I hit 70.

Theoretically, would an enhance/restoration shaman go for this over the 2% spell crit? I mean, you already have NS...this is of course assuming most of your damage doesn't come from spells.

1) you go to LBRS and kill the final boss that drops an envolope(its not a roll item so anyone can take it so get it quick)

2) you read it and take it the a guy in Burning Steppes near the flight path (west east of the map)

3) go to UBRS and kill Drak,

4) fly back to Burning steppes and retrieve your phat loot.

i wonder why blizz have not made a better thinket than this, most of end game players still use it. for some clases +1% crit means a lot. this is a must have for all hunters.

1) to start the quest u need to kill final boss in lbrs and he drops it.
2)hand it in at BS
3)kill drakk at ubrs
4)hand in..BOOM DONE

1.kill last boss in LBRS-you loot the qst from him
2.kill drakki in UBRS
3.get your loot from the guy at the FP in BS

Any melee class that picks Mark of Tyranny over this is just stupid. Some people may say that MoT is better for tanking, and while that MIGHT be true, you'll soon replace it with better trinkets. Blackhand's Breadth stays useful even once you're all epicced out.

anything with +% scales exponentially as you aquire better gear, which is what makes items like (and including) the blackhand's breadth so good. Alot of epiced hunters, rogues and warriors continue to use this trinket in AQ/naxx gear, simply because a nice crit boost is hard to replace.

Using this as one of my trinkets...coupled with other gear and talents my crit is 32-33%. UBRS, scholo, strath blues, and some PvP gear.

This is probably the most used trinket in PvP for any melee class. Get it.

i was so pissed when i lost a doomsaw to a hunter and a valor BP to a man that had might BP, but then i went back to burning steppes and return the quest for this good junk. i was pleased, but kinda real mad about those losts of good armor and weapons.
