Why would it even exist, let alone be so rare, if its only use is for vendoring for 32 copper. If it was off-hand, then it would be pretty cool, but as it is you can't even show it off :(
Can it be used for anything? Anyone fed one to a pet?

They have rare fish you can catch there (BB tournie) but haven't found a use for these things yet.

People seem to be always demanding a reward for anything uncommon these days. Why not just accept that its a rare fish, and some people would be happy to catch it for that reason alone.

The BB fishing contest wouldn't accept it. I also caught a 47 Pound Grouper, and fed that one to my croc to see what happened. He seemed to get instantly happy and stay happy for longer (about 45 min., so I'm guessing it might have been 47 minutes, or, 1 minute per pound...unverified though). Someone suggested I "grill it" but don't have any recipes for grouper. Anyone?

Never forget that the game designers collectively have a very dry sense of humor. It would probably amuse them a great deal to have us try to figure out what a 53 Pound Grouper is good for. Bragging rights. Cat food.

Picked this up near Feathermoon Stronghold while leveling Fishing. I just tried to AH this and I get the message "You cannot auction an item with used charges" when I try to list it.

Never seen that before. I haven't "done" anything with the fish and there were never any "charges" listed w/ it. Weird.
