290 herbalism skill required to pick it, tons and tons in Winterspring. Found mainly along the hilly areas, you will find Mountain Silversage as well.

I found the herb good for leveling up herbalism, but not much else. I think I got to 374 picking icecap (not exclusively, tho). Too bad you can make mana pots as good as major with outland herbs much more plentiful than dreamfoil.

It's used for Enchanting (Icy Chill - Chance to slow on weapon) and a few Potions..

Its orange at 300 herb skill which means you can
fail, just keep trying till it works!

Most Enchanters will gladly give you +5 Herb skill in exchange for an icecap

herbalism. This herb took me up to 370 pretty fast(2-3h from 300). It was still green at 370, but I got the herbalist gloves with enchant. So I didn't really bother to farm them for those 5 last skills...

I get 5-6 gold per 10 icecap. Since you can get up to 3 icecap at a time, it doesn't take long to get a half stack while you're running around killing things in Winterspring. The odd black lotus here and there bumps me up about 7-8 gold, but icecap is my workhorse herbalism profit maker.
