Since I think rogues are supposed to deal damage, counting 1% crit. worth 2% dodge.

1% hit is worth +0.7% crit. since you're losing the +30% dmg from leathality. Otherwise it's the same than +% crit. You can count a miss to be normal hit, and a normal hit to be a crit.

Since 30 agility gives you +1% crit and +1.5% dodge with +30 attack power (+14 AP = +1dps) I count 25 AP to be worth +0.25% crit. Stamina I consider to be 1.5:1 worth compared to agility. 45 stamina = 30 agility.

30 agility gives 2 value points.
45 stamina gives 2 value points.

Comparison with shoulders:

Stormshroud:

+10 stamina = 0.225 value
+1% crit = 1 value
+1% dodge = 0.5 value

Worth 1.725 points.
Conclusion: balanced offensive-defensive.

Wyrmkin:

+23 agility = ~1.5 value
+10 stamina = 0.225 value

Worth 1.725 points.
Conclusion: devensive shoulders.

Truestrike:

+2% hit = 42 agility ->
+2.9 value from critical chance from 42 agi.
-42 attack power = ~-0.4 value
-~2% dodge = -1 value
+22 attack power = ~+0.225 value

Worth 1.725 points.
Conclusion: offensive shoulders.

All three shoulders are as good, but depends what you're aiming at.

Got these today, they are the best non-epic shoulders for a rogue period. The only way I would wear SC ones is if I had the rest of the set and wanted the set bonus.

My druid friend has a pair of these babys cause he can't stand the way the wildheart shoulders look. Can't blame him i think it's ugly too, but i'm just saying it's a half way desent pair of shoulders for a druid. Great for a rogue yes who can't get his MC set yet, but hey if there is no rogue around to pick up these drop and a druid wants it. I mean a druid uses all stats, they need spr, int, and sta mostly, which of the three is most needed usually depends on the fighting style. Same with these stats they need them too. However if it's between a rogue and a druid, give it to the rogue. If it's between a druid and no one else let the druid have it.

Why in the world would a hunter even want these? Esp if a rogue wanted them! Poor playing in my opinion... As for a druid rolling against rogues, there are only so many things a rogue can really use. I've only seen one thing drop for rogues in the raiding I've done, and it was these shoulders. The druids in my group didn't even glance twice at them... guess I was lucky?

Depending on your build truestrike can be better.

An above poster was right when he said crit=hit, however this also assumes that you have no +hit already, hit becomes less and less good the more you get.

+crit can also become better with certain talents, seal fate, lethality, etc.

try this dps calculator. It will tell you how much agility each other stat is worth once you put in your Equipment, build, etc.

i'm kinda pissed (in a good way, i guess) 'cause i (idiotically) spent a lot of gold to get my stormshroud shoulders earlier on, and now these dropped last night

i was the only rogue in the group and the only one who could roll Need on them, so i got them, but i don't know which to use now

i'll try both and see

I had both SC shoulders and these drop in Strat the other day, I got SC shoulders, but a damn hunter outrolled me on these, I'm annoyed, hunters wear mail, he said "the stats are good" well I don't really care. Leather = Rogue, Mail = Hunter.

I am a 60 Rogue on Azgalor and I have had Hunters steal a lot from me in the past but, that guy your laughing at has a point....it is true that hunters in PVE dont take hits...the pets do, so I can understand he wants some leather for the stats but...NOT IF THERE IS A ROGUE/FERAL DRUID that wants it...If noone wants it..maybe it wouldnt be a bad thing for a hunter for PvE, Think about it.

Strangely, druid catform want more strength while the bearform want more agility, here is why:

1 strength =2.2 AP for catform = higher damage for cat.

1 agility almost equal to 1 defense for druid in bearform and agility is much easier to acquire than defense.

aggro generated by maul is double is doubled when crit, which allowes better aggro holding and more rage.

Rogues should get first pick at any and all loot that has a leather armor class and is agility based... sorry but if you choose not to take advantage of extra armor as a hunter than i hope you enjoy getting your ass kicked because not only would rogues out DPS You but then they will have just as much armor as you!

you cant sneak there anyway, new patch = strat unstealthable

like trying to sneak past lvl 55 gaurds when you were baby lvl 10

10 man raids are crap, Blizzard designed it at as 5 man so do it as one! or are you little girlymen?

These are a little better than the Shadowcraft Spaulders. Getting these bumped the shadowcraft spaulders to the bottom of my list of things to get.

I had the idea to stealth to Balnazzar with 2 or 3 rogues and just kill him. Is there a chance do this with 2 or 3 lvl 60 rogues or do you think its too hard without a healer? I've never been to strat before, so plz tell me.
