Is it just me or did these boots get A BIT(!) too powerful? I mean, compare them to Faith Healer's Boots AND Boots of the Full Moon (and loads of similar blue 5man instance loot), which both are 7-8 lvls higher, they all have ~+33 stats BUT these have 14 more to heal.. Now comparing to Treads of the Wandering Nomad and they STILL beat the crap out of em, sure less int ofc, but more sta, more spirit and still greater +heal bonus, the insane part: Treads of the Wandering Nomad are from AQ20 raid instance, lv 60 req, while these are from brd, easily attainable by any nublet and his nublet gang.
Now, wuzzap with that? :P

Edit: Ok, this is really spooky.. These are both legs and boots? They say legs, but there's an image of boots on one of them; one drop from Golem Lord Argelmach and the other from Fineous Darkvire...Starting to wonder if the boots even exist, seem a little too good to get from brd, especially when they say "Legs" on them.. :P

Why does it say mail when i look for mail chests ?

it seems there is a bug between thottbot and this item:
the real item is the cloth legs. Maybe there is a corruption of the DB that has created the "chest mail" and the "feet cloth" that links to the same thing

Yeah, thottbot has some bogus data. Got these two days ago, they are in fact cloth pants, not boots or gloves or ring or mount or whatever. And they are delicious.

As far as mana regen, these win out IF you have 3/3 Meditation talent.

Padre's Trousers give 2.4 mana/tick.

Outside of 5-second rule, these give 17 mana/tick (used spirit formula from WoWWiki).

Inside the 5-second rule, and with 3/3 Meditation talent, these give 2.55 mana/tick.

Other comparisons-

Benefits of Padre's Trousers:
- 7 armor
- 2 +healing
- 195 mana (214 with 5/5 Mental Strength talent)

Benefits of Senior Designer's Pantaloons:
- Easier to obtain
- 80 health
