This guide will list the recommended gear for Retribution Paladin DPS while they prepare for their first raids, picking up gear from from dungeons, professions, world drops, reputations, and instances.

Pre-Raid Best In Slot Gear for Retribution Paladin DPS in Season of Mastery
This guide walks through the best pre-raid DPS gear options for fresh level 60 Retribution Paladins in WoW Classic Season of Mastery. The intent of these lists is to prepare a fresh level 60 player for their first Phase 1 raids, so the listed items will be limited in scope to quest rewards, drops from 5-man dungeons, crafted gear, and BoE items. PvP rewards will be excluded despite being technically available pre-raid, as most of them require a significant time investment to obtain and will most likely be acquired well after your first few raids.
光铸护甲
is the Tier 0 dungeon set for Paladins, collected from various high-level dungeons such as Blackrock Spire, Stratholme and Scholomance. This is a pretty bad set for a Retribution Paladin. The stats and set bonuses on this set have some Strength and other good melee stats, but much of the gear's budget is wasted on Intellect and other Healing stats in general, which are of no benefit to your damage at all. Avoid this set.

is an incredible helmet for Ret Paladin DPS, as it provides hit rating, crit rating, and a whopping 18 strength. While the Ret Paladin does only need 9% hit, the Lionheart Helm can take you quite far and will be a strong piece for nearly all of Season of Mastery.

more DPS than the alternative 7 Agi enchant. Even a very slight improvement in active uptime on raid bosses or trash mobs vastly outweighs the DPS contribution from a few additional stats.

Why would you enchant plus speed on your boots if you already have Pursuit of Justice talented. Do not waste the slot, get that plus agi enchant and spend 2 talent points on pursuit of justice, extra movement speed is flat out better than any stat, and its plus mounted speed too.

It should be noted that if your human and talented into Precision, you only need 3% hit from items when equipping a mace or a sword due to +weapon skill values. Several better pre-raid BiS items are missed due to achieving 6% hit, such as
