Battleguard Sartura Quick Tips
DPS
All Warriors and Rogues should be focused on killing the Royal Guards as quickly as possible and using Taunt or Kidney Shot to control the adds, preventing them from moving around the room and cleaving down the raid. While the Royal Guards are still alive, the only people in the raid taking damage should be melee.
Rogues should look to use

whenever a Royal Guard resets aggro and begins to fixate on a random raid member, preventing the Royal Guard or the boss from reaching the ranged group.
Tanks
All Warriors, whether they are DPS or a designated Tank should be paying close attention to the Royal Guards and be prepared to Taunt them or

stun them in the event they aggro reset. It is important to keep the boss and the Royal Guards away from ranged players.
In the event of an Aggro Reset, a Tank or a Warrior needs to taunt the boss or the Royal Guard immediately, ensuring they don't start roaming around Battleguard Sartura's room and cleaving down the raid.
Healers
During the initial start of the fight, when all the Royal Guards are up, ideally only the melee players should be receiving damage from the AOE cleaves from the boss and the Royal Guards. In the event the boss and adds are running free, healers should be prepared to do a bunch of raid healing, as the AOE cleaves can do a ton of damage!
Once Battleguard Sartura enrages at 20%, Healers should focus on healing the main tank as much as possible, as there will be a significant increase in damage.
Before the Pull
Tanks should have their Royal Guard targets assigned and when charging into Battleguard Sartura's room, each tank should be prepared to separate their target out from the group and keep them at a distance from one another, to avoid taking multiple cleaves. Additionally, the boss has an extremely long aggro range and will be "body-pulled" from a great distance, so when mounted up and running in, Warriors need to be leading the group towards the boss. Once Warriors each have aggro on their assigned target, they should move the boss or the add away from the others, and keep them away from each other and from the raid group.
Battleguard Sartura Abilities and Strategy
Battleguard Sartura is a boss encounter that will put the raid's tanks and Warriors to the forefront, testing their ability to control the boss and her adds with taunt and short stuns. Ideally, the tanks bring each of the adds to their own corner in the room, and the raid can quickly swap between the adds, burning them down. Warriors need to be positioned nearby to taunt the Royal Guards or the boss in the event of an aggro reset.
Abilities
Aggro Reset
will take place randomly throughout the fight, where Battleguard Sartura will drop all aggro and start charging toward a random raid member. Immediately, Battleguard Sartura should be stunned or taunted by another warrior, to prevent her from moving and cleaving down the raid. After 5 seconds, her initial aggro will go back into effect, and she will return to her original target.

will put out an insane amount of damage, as Battleguarid Sartura's Whirlwind hits about twice as hard as her Royal Guards. Throughout the fight, Battleguard Sartura will use Whirlwind, which lasts for a short duration and does AOE cleave damage to any target nearby. This is why the raid positioning matters and the aggro reset can cause a ton of problems for a raid, if the boss and her adds aren't controlled. Whirlwind is purely physical damage, so if anyone in the raid is in a tight spot and might die, consider using

goes out immediately following Battleguard Sartura's Whirlwind. This is also an AOE effect, doing direct damage and lowering armor on all those hit with the effect. As the spell mentions, this can stack up to 3 times, so hopefully, only the tanks are being hit by this Sundering Cleave, as any cloth wearing ranged players might have their armor reduced to a very low amount, and if they are hit by a single whirlwind, they could go down!

happens when Battleguard Sartura reaches 20% of her total health. The entire raid should save cooldowns for this moment, to burst the boss down and finish her off as quickly as possible. Hopefully, healers haven't had to burn through a bunch of mana throughout the fight and have enough to keep healing out on the tank through this increased damage output from the boss.
Hard Enrage
takes place after 10 minutes of the encounter. Once Battleguard Sartura hard enrages, it's pretty much game over. This is essentially a hard DPS check and really only comes into play if people die from AOE cleave. In the event your entire raid survives through the adds and bring them down, the hard enrage shouldn't come into play.
Sartura's Royal Guard Abilities
Aggro Reset
, just like Battleguard Sartura, will take place randomly throughout the fight, where the Royal Guard will drop all aggro and start charging toward a random raid member. Immediately, the Royal Guard should be stunned or taunted by another warrior, to prevent them from moving and cleaving down the raid. After 5 seconds, the initial aggro will go back into effect, and the Royal Guard will return to its original target.

is also similar to Battleguard Sartura's, but the Royal Guard Whirlwind hits about half as hard. But if the Royal Guards aren't under control and running around, if multiple Royal Guard Whirlwind near a clump of raid members, they will take a massive amount of damage and could potentially die. That is exactly why it is important to keep the Royal Guards under control.

is unique to the Royal Guards and add plenty of chaos to the fight. As you can see, the primary mechanic is to keep the adds and the boss under control and prevent them from running through the raid, cleaving the raid down. The tanks that are assigned to the Royal Guards need to keep their backs to the wall in the room, away from the raid, in the event they are knocked back. If a tank is knocked through the raid, the raid needs to re-position itself to avoid getting whirlwinded by the add.
