This bronze tube is popular because it is needed in 2(?) quests and several engineering stuff. Can be maybe sold for few g each in the ah. Depends on realm.

In the early levels, this is the best way for Alliance engineers to make money. Most of the other engineering gadgets will not sell, but these consistently go for 80s buyout on my server. If you buy a stack of bronze bar for 2g, then make ten of these to sell, that's a nice 6g profit.

On a limited supply buy item on NPCs such as this, the respawn/restock rate is about once every 30 minutes.

After three days of trying to find one on AH, and then trying to get one made via trade, I finally gave up and sat by an engineer supplier for a little while.

Almost all limited supply stock items work much the same way. Things like potions or powers tend to be quicker as in 5-10 minutes. Patience young padwan, patience.

bring mats to an engineer in your guild maybe if you have one you only need weak flux and 2 bronze bar not hard 2 get at all if ure on the english ralm skullcrusher /w pouchie and ill happily make u 1 (if u bring the materials)

It seems, that in patch 2.4.3 Bronze Tubes aren't sold by the vendors in SW and Duskwood anymore. I looked several times, at both vendors, but they didn't have em. I will start looking for one in AH, or in guild.

I have begun wondering if several merchants share the same stock. When I opened up the merchant there was a bronze tube, I bought some other stuff but then when I tried to buy the tube it said something about the resource not being found.

I would easily have written this off if there had been someone else there beside me who could have bought it from the vendor while I was buying the other stuff.

Now, though, I wonder if someone, somewhere, bought it from some other vendor and if that caused it to disappear from my vendors stock too...

ok I think bronze tube was removed from the merchants offer, since i was waiting for half an hour and nothingn, in exodar and there's no player to be seen at all.

Merchants in this game have some items that have a limited stock. Like the bronze tube. If you visit a merchant that is supose to but dosn't have it then you will have to wait fot it to respawn.

Nor SW merchant, neither Exodar merchant has bronze tubes, wtf.. I can't afford to buy this from AH, costs from 1.5g up -_-

This is a limited stock item...
If you visit a NPC Town Merchant, like Herble Baubbletump (Enginnering and Mining Supplies) in Darkshire, and he dosen't have it in that moment, just wait 5 to 15 minutes for it to respawn in his inventory.

I had a lot of trouble finding this!
Here are some of my discoveries about the vendor mechanics...
- There seems to be a check every 15m or so for wheater or not to restock items.
- NOT ALL items will be restocked, and which ones will show up is RANDOM.
- Some items are more rarely in stock than others.

Bronze Tube in particular seems rather rare. I visited 8 vendors without finding any.
Then proceeded to attempt to wait for restocking but that did not seem to consistently happen even after 1h.
I could have gotten unlucky with that they restocked identical items, but I had more success with seing different items when purchasing everything they had, then selling it back to them.
So a note to make from this, they might require at least 1 item/stack to be purchased to bother restocking!
I did eventually find these after around 10 restock attempts.
