One would assume that this is the 10-man normal mode version of the ability, which is used by Lord Jaraxxus (Second boss of the Crusaders' Coliseum)

It is relatively easily dealt with by spam-healing the target for 30k (60k in 25-man normal mode) within 15 seconds. Note that this healing will not be effective on the health pool of the raid member; it will only count towards dispeling the debuff.

Mages can iceblock out of this debuff, saving your healers' mana and your tank's health.
Just make sure to call out that you are iceblocking it off to prevent unnecessary heals, and if you get it on you again be sure to let your healers know that iceblock is still on cooldown.

an easy way to deal with this healing is to rejuv, swiftmend and nourish the target and that should cover the 30k healing needed.

rejuv is about 12k healing(the last 2 ticks wont count becasue they will push past the 15 sec time limit), swiftmend is 11k noncrit, and a 10k nourish crit will get rid of it at minmal time and mana cost. if swiftmend is down, then just rejuv then LB2x then nourish and let it fall off as lb blooms.

25-man ToGC (Heroic) requires 85000 healing to remove this debuff.

It's interesting that a spell which supposedly melts your flesh off your bones deals no actual damage (until Burning Inferno triggers).
