Try to group up for this quest. The respawn rates in the cell blocks can be so out of hand most of the time that you'll have to kill 4-8 enemies in a row because they keep respawning one after another, meaning that getting to Svarnos can be suicidal and extremely frustrating. I've died multiple times doing these dailies simply because Blizzard really screwed up with the respawn rates, so you repeatedly get attacked with zero chance to eat/drink/bandage. With a group getting to the end is a lot less difficult.

Other option? Skip it. If there aren't a lot of people in the cell blocks, it might be worth saving yourself the repair bill and frustration from dying repeatedly.

Swarnos is to the right when you come down to D-block

For those that are a little slow like me. cood: 42.7, 39.2 for the entrance to D-Block then like BlueDog says go to the right when you get down the stairs.

The respawns are a little annoying if you want the quicker way fight through to him kill him then get naked and die. Its the easy way out!

Entrance The entrance to the area is at 42.7 39.2. Enter from the swamp and not the road. Be prepared to fight 3 different types of demons etc to get in.
Go down the stairs and turn right. He is at the far end in a small room.

Rare Daily This daily comes up infrequently and is part of the achievement Just Another Day in Tol Barad

On my server, Horde normally controls Tol Barad and I had to wait 3 weeks to get this quest.

I've just recently defended Tol Barad and my faction succeeded, but the door to D-Block has remained closed...

Does anyone know if there is another way in, or when the door is set to open again?

Svarnos

You must kill Svarnos in the D-Block and return with his Cursed Collar. Svarnos can be found in the D-Block, just northwest of Baradin Hold.

Description

Excellent work on the island capture, <class>. Now that we have claimed the island, we need to make these cellblocks useable for prisoners. D-Block has been especially hard to clear out. Unfortunately it has become overrun with demons of all sorts.

We have been able to thin out the demons but a large core hound has broken its way out of its cell and is wreaking havoc down there. I need you to kill him and bring back his collar.
