Crates are by trees over on Wild Shore. Once looted a mob comes out to attack you.

The quest is ok but am i the only one who thinks its absolutely BS that every lvl33 pirate can zap and stab a level85?

The respawn rate for the boxes seems to be very low. Something in the order of 10 minutes.

I'm Alliance and this is marked as a Horde quest. I spy on them by becoming a Captain of one of their ships, eventually, and getting the details of an impending attack on Booty Bay. I accuse Corsairs in the bottom of the ships for mutiny, kill them and sabotage the grog and gunpowder, which are also down there. The report back to the Baron.

I logged out while on this quest as well as Cannonball Swim and now I am unable to turn it in to Garr Salthoof. I still have the Piracy buff that says the Bloodsail guys aren't hostile to me, but they're all showing to be hostile even though they don't attack. Logging out and back in did not fix it.

I experienced the same issue as above while multiboxing my 37 Warrior and 36 Rogue, but only on my Warrior, weird. After submitting a ticket to GM, I got the standard "thank you, this issue has been elevated to our QA department" reply.

After trying to logout from the game in several locations, with no success, I flew to Northern STV, which caused me to loose the "Piracy" buff. Upon return to Cape STV, the "Piracy" buff returned and reset. The Bloodsail mobs now appeared friendly, allowing me to turn in "Cannonball" and "Bane Of Every Pirate" quests.

It appears that a work around for this issue is to leave the Cape STV area completely and then return, until Blizz can correct the issue.

Oh, once you have reset the buff, I would recommend not logging out, as I did, because logging appears to re-create the issue, again, and the Bloodsail mobs will once again turn unfriendly. I had to leave the area and fly back in to reset the "Piracy" buff (p.i.t.a.).

I had same problem on the previous quest - swabbing the decks - apparently the temporary allegiance to BB's is a bit shaky and after 3 logouts I tried quitting completely and rebooting the game - came back with the allegiance reinstated and I was able to hand in quests - logout alone made no difference... hope this helps

If you have a flying mount, just fly straight out to sea until you leave the area (Fatigue starts and then you leave cape of STV and are in STV as a whole). Turn around and fly back and it is fine.

Next quest is Attracting Attention, which can be picked up back with Captain Keelhaul.

I just wanted to add that there are many, many crates over on the shores of Jaguero Island, as well. I remembered seeing little boxes near the trees while doing quests for Princess Poobah there earlier, and swam over to check them out. Don't wait for the one on the Wild Shore to respawn!

I know you're new and all, and probably haven't ever needed your gums cut, but the rest of us pirates have to deal with a little thing called SCURVY. It's why we keep so many limes around here.

Well... we used to keep limes around here. Someone made off with our last shipment, but they can't have gone far - maybe to the nearby islands? Bring them back, and maybe I'll see what I can do to get you promoted from swabbie.
