The text it self doesn't reveal that he IS dying, only that the day he does perish, he wished alot of things that he is unable to reverse.

Thrall's dialogue doesn't indicate his death directly. If you recall the way he spoke and acted in WC3, he is a generally peaceful person who values the lives of those under him. Sending them to war especially against another part of the Horde would weigh heavily on him.

Also (coming from an Alliance player), Thrall is probably the best NPC (next to Tirion Fordring, of course ;))

- These words which are mourned by Thrall himself.. shows clearly that he is or sooner or later going to die! Read the dialect carefully before you comment :/

Part of the Horde questline for the Wrath Gate event. This quest line is very long and spans the entire length of Dragonblight. Quite honestly, I consider this one of the most important quest lines (thus far) in Wrath. A must-do for any hordeling. :)

In quite a few of these chains there are optional prequests. I will not list these, despite them being in the quest series list, because they are just that: Optional. I will list the LATEST quest available that will start the chain, or the one most likely to pick up while completing other parts of this chain.

Additionally, these quests are Horde Only. I, unfortunately, do not have an Alliance character on the Beta, so I do not have access to any alliance quests. Sorry!

Step names are purely flavor. They generalize what that part of the chain leads up to/is about.

I highly urge everyone to read the quest text. This quest line is quite possibly one of the most epic in Warcraft history and is highly worth the time. Lore lovers and haters alike should enjoy them.

Counts for Loremaster of Kalimdor. It's possible that previous ones in the chain counted too... wasn't watching.

Edit: Last quest didn't count, probably because it was finished in EK.

So if like me you dropped this quest, thinking you could pick it back up to bring the portals back, and found Thrall would not offer you the quest, It's due to the phasing issues, simply go outside undercity, change phases with the npc there, and come back.

Did you abandon the quest to try and restart it / talk to Thrall again and he doesn't seem to have it?

Go to just outside Undercity and there's a floating NPC in a beam of light named Zidormi, talk to her and select "Show me the battle for the Undercity." Once you do that, port or hearth back to Org and go back to Thrall, then you can pick the quest up again.

Alternatively, are you stuck in the regular phase of Org/Undercity and want to complete?

Mostly the same, just go to outside undercity and talk to Zidormi, then you can do The Battle for Undercity!

Take the portal to Undercity located in Grommash Hold and report to Vol'jin.

Description

On the day of my death I wish to be able to say that I lived a life without regret. Those who mourn my passing will know that I was a Warchief who made decisions that best served his people.

But this betrayal by Varimathras and Putress... All that we have worked for is for nothing.

<Thrall's chest heaves with a heavy sigh.>

Justice must be served.
