The key line can be found at 32.71. Kill the Lt, get the amulet from the Lt. and use it next to the arch. Wait a few seconds after using the amulet, and you will get a 'complete' message.

As you might suspect, Lt. Ta'zanni is the Horde analogue to Emma Malin. So the misery is spread evenly in this chain.

wery easy go to 33 73 coords. find a troll named lieutenant ta'zinni. kill him and he will drop a item that u can use right next to where he spawns. close to the big electric ring.. hope this helps

i have kill him 15 time and no letter. Either the drop rate of 38 percent is not right or im having super bad luck or they removed it.

You are right. The troll drops the letter for horde while the alliance NPC (Captain Emmy) drops a letter for alliance.

This area is densly packed with mobs, it's a real pain in the ass so watch your back.

I found the previous posts confusing since they don't seem to mention the the second arch.

East of the arch for the previous quest you will see a path leading up at 28.1, 66.3 follow that path up (you will encounter some arcane wyrm) up to around 32, 72 and you will see the second arch. I found the leutinant just past that arch. I got an amulet which I then used on the second arch (just like the ring in the prev quest).

The easiest way to get there is go South from Star's Rest you should see a path, use the path the screen with say your in Lothalor Woods. After that go a little south-east and you should find it, your going to have to fight off some stuff to kill the Lt. and to get to the ley line. Also, Strengthen the Ancients, quest is in the woods as well, to do that you talk to the Walkers, look like druid trees, they will attack you, you kill them, they drop bark, then you use the bark on the big elders, the elders are friendly.

I quickly found out that questhelper doesnt work with this one. It gets confused and thinks that you need to go to the 1st focus, the one on the beach, so you'll have to do it the old fashioned way.

Not only do you have to avoid the 71 elites roaming around, there's dozens of those flying arcane eels buzzing about every 20 yards or so. If you're within a couple levels of them, you can aggro several at a time.

The lieutenant strolls around location 32-72 with an aid. I cleared an area out and then ambushed him and his aid. Got the amulet and then used it on the Arch.

love quest like this, there is no indication what-so-ever that you have found the amulet. once you get it click on it under the ring last the last quest.

Obtain the Ley Line Focus Control Amulet and use it to gain information from the Ley Line Focus in the Lothalor Woodlands.

Then, return to the Image of Archmage Modera at Stars' Rest.

Description

I'm convinced that there must be more of those foci, each of them in-turn redirecting the ley line energies. We still don't know precisely what they're doing with all of that power, though.

My guess is that you'll find another one atop the Lothalor Woodlands to the southeast. Once again you'll need to find the person in charge and take whatever controlling device they have in their possession as I'm sure that each focus has its own.

Be careful, <name>, those woods are very dangerous.
