Currently bugged for me, but managed to finish it. It's a loot bug for me, so if you're stuck on constant loot, then log out and back in. WAIT till the ship STOPS at either destination and then you can loot the item.

Bugged for me, the zepplin seems to not spawn(or could be a phasing issue), but it just isn't there period.

As the quest says, your looking for a zeppelin flying off the northeast coast and you'll find the trunk on the lower deck. Just fly on to the lower back of the zeppelin to avoid the two mobs on the deck.

I've been sitting in the bottom of the ship for a while now, no cloth yet. I just put a ticket in.

On our server the chests are currently spawning when the ship stops in Krazzworks. However they disappear immediately and anyone trying to get it gets stuck in the "looting" position until they logout. I'm in the same "boat" as others six bars from 85 and now stuck.

Alright so what you are looking for is a pretty small Zeppelin flying from Dragonmaw Port to The Krazzworks. According to blizzards quest system it shall only appear above the water. However it can also appear above the ground (always moving). Check the map above and you will see the pattern.

There seemed to some problems with bugs for this quest but I was able to get it done on Proudmoore by:
i. Waiting at Krazzworks till the zeppelin came
ii. Flying onto the lower deck
iii. When I went inside it was empty, so I stayed in the back right hand corner, if you're facing the stairs until the box spawned in that corner at the same time that the captain spawned in the middle of the room when we were about 45 seconds away from Krazzworks.
iv. Opened the box, took the item - the box remained there for about 10 seconds and then disappeared.

I had the same problem, but then I went to the top deck and killed them all, and the chest showed up.

My server started announcing it was going to restart just a few minutes ago. Knowing there was a possibility that the silk would be there upon logging back in, I logged in when it came up about three minutes later and sure enough two-three crates of it were all there.

It certainly sucks but this may be something to keep in mind if you want to finish this quest chain.

As of 12/10/2010, I'm about 99% sure that this quest(and a few other quests in TH) gets broken by the high amount of people trying to do them at once. It and the other quests that are bugged work fine after the daily server restart that's been happening since the expansion came out.

So I'd suggest finding a way to get on early and do the quests if you're having an issue.

Ok, so i was trying some things out, and i finally got it to work for me and a friend, get on ship, log out, turn off all of your addons, log back in, chest should be there once the zepplin stops. This was very annoying seeing as it was the last quest i had in the zone, hopefully this will work for others as well.

For those that missed it like I did, there is a big open door on the back of the Zeppelin behind the propeller that you can use to fly in. I first tried flying in through the deck stairs and got pwned by the guards. Much easier to fly in through the back.

I stood around killing the goblin over and over, waiting for the chest to spawn. It didn't after going around like 10 times. Came here and read comments.

The KEY is to stand where it spawns (or so it seemed that FINALLY did it for me, from a helpful hint here).

I did the quest a min ago and had no problems at all. Dunno if its bugged on current servers but prolly they fixed it after the last patch. Bronzebeard- EU

If you are having trouble finding the cloth, stand in the cargo bay facing the outside. The cloth will show up to the left of the door on the inside. For me, the cloth would only appear for about 5 sec. during the round trip and then would disappear.

Yes - it is a rather-small 'purple-colored' Zepplin with a RED emblem on the SIDE of it.

Unless you have a very-fast MOUNT - i highly-recommend that you WAIT until the Zepplin DOCKS @ either Dragonmaw or Krazzleworks (where it will then-be STATIONARY) - then, BOARD through the REAR of it (as suggested previously).

You will probably-see a mobster in that little room - along with the chests you want to loot.

The mobster isn't that-hard to kill - so kill him, then loot the chest.

EZ - ONCE I waited for that damn-zepplin to DOCK (and it was standing STILL)!

I was looking at the light blue zone on the quest map that shows where to look for the blimp. But if you look at the circle of dots above on this page you can see that the quest oval is INSIDE the path taken by the blimp. I guess that's why I never found it in flight huh? <DOH>. The suggestion about waiting for it to dock is a good one. At Krazz, there are two alliance controlled blimps with gunners on them. Those are not the one you want. If you find one with hostile mobs on it, that's the one. When it's docked it is easier to come in the back door and click on the chest.

I dont know if this would be considered cheating, but as a Warlock I simply had my pet take on the mob in the hold, I Feared the one that aggro'd me, and then I looted the chest, jumped off the back of the ship (taking no damage when I landed in the water) and summoned my mount and flew to turn the quest in. Hardest part was figuring out how to get on the ship, for which I thank the posts here. :)

Be careful what mount you are flying on when you are trying to get into the doorway of the zepplin. I could not fit through it while riding a Proto-Drake and normal Drake, but on my gryphon or hippogryph I fit just fine.

This quest is wierd because the first time i tried it the boxes weren't there but when boarding it on it when it was leaving dragonmaw the silk boxes where there. After killing the guard they went missing again.

The quest is currently bugged (26th Dec 2010), after trying to steal silk from zeppelin your character gets stuck in looting pose, you can no longer loot anything till you relog.. gotta call GM or wait XX days till I can move on this questline.
(for those who are going to downvote without trying, I've tried it several times..)

Edit: after dying and catching my traveling body, I ressed in the back of zeppelin, while still stuck in loot pose I was finally able to open the chest and

All i did was go to that place called krazzworks. as mentioned, the zep is the same as horde zep , only smaller. it has a purple blimp with red marking on the side.

if u fly up u will notice there are 3 of these zeppelins, just get on top of one of them and observe which one is flying/moving. if u see one moving, get quickly on the lower part of the deck, u will see a goblin. she will attack u, she wont drop the cloth tho. there is a chest on the lower deck (you will see it, its big) and open it. its not bugged for me. it took me a while tho to figure it out.

Hi all,

This probably won't matter after a day or three - but I also had the quest bugged.

Relogged/booted/etc... nothing worked... but I got it to :)

Abandon the quest. Re-accept it.

This is the important part!

I went in the back door - and looted *before* i killed the mob inside.

In my case - it aggro'd - i bashed it and looted the box.

I tried once *after* killing the mob - but it was still bugged.

Maybe this will help someone else - good luck :)

I don't know if this was just coincidence, but I tried twice to loot the silk crate right inside the door and got stuck in the looting pose until I logged.

I then tried the one of the two crates farther in the zepp (by the stairs) and looted it no problem.

Just got done doing this quest, and if you try to fly in while it's moving, the little goblin near the back door will shoot you off of your mount. I got shot off and fell into the water, trying; so be careful.

worked fine for me tonight...waited till it docked at The Krazzworks, went in the back door, killed the guy in the room and looted the box. Blimp had started off again, so I went to the left side of the balcony, faced that way (with props on my right) and got on my mount, was not knocked off by propellors

This Quest is not bugged! There is a zeppelin flying from Dragonmaw to The Krazzworks..... I think the zeppelin flying with 260% speed... so u need a fast flymount.... But its not always in the marked area from the Quest, becouse i found it out of the area there was marked..... so go find it out of the area.. i found it in left side ... :) Good luck with finding it :D

I boarded the zeppelin while it was docked at the krazzworks through the lower balcony. There was no chest at all. I rode it for 2 complete trips, then finally it spawned 2 chests in 2 corners at dragonmaw port, which despawned when the zeppelin took off. I looted with no problems. The problem here seems to be the spawn/despawn timing.

I kept getting bugged as well and each time i tried to relog, i would log in and the mob on the lower deck would be attacking me. Each time i killed it and tried to loot the chests, i would get stuck and have to relog. Finally i tried CC'ing the mob and looting the chest without killing it first, and it worked the first time. If you have CC use that, it seems to work.

Currently (1/4/11) the crates do not seem to be there. I have followed the zeppelin back and forth from multiple times, relogged, and re-getting the quest and sadly none have worked so far.

This seems badley bugged on Teranas. When I first tried this I could not locate the air ship at all at the krazzworks. So I flew over to dragonmore port, a little dangerous as I,m not playing the horde, waited for it to arrive and followed it back to the krazzworks. Then as it approached the empty krazzworks dock it vanished just leaving an empty dock with no airship visible. If you can;t see it you cant board it to complete the quest...
I did try to snnek on @ Dragonmore but just got blasted and had to run. Not tried to land on back of ship while it fly over to Krazzworks, as it is visible all the way, but that seems a little like suicide if i try.
Have raised a ticket but nothing back yet, anyone esle found this problem ?
Meant to add even re-logging does not fix this bug...

Finaly got this done but found the only way was to get on board at Dragonmort Port as the airship kept vanishing at The Krazzworks. Anyway managed to board and found all the crew dead and alll four boxes in place, so very simple in the end just grabbed a box and got out. one crew member did spawn just as i was leaving but no problem to deal with..
I was tempted to stay on board till it docked at the Krazzworks to see if it docked ok with me on board, but did not want to be left floating down to earth and losing all health if it vanshed..

For alliance, the way I did this was fly up to The Krazzworks and waited for the zepplin to fly back to Dragonmaw Port. Once it left the port from The Krazzworks, I just simply flew in from the backside, killed this goblin and looted the silk. Very easy.

I'm kind of happy about this quest as it involves some actual PvP (goblins are flagged as horde on Zepplin). Sometimes people will find Horde PCs there waiting to catch alliance players and then entire battles will ensue to gain control of the Zepplin.

With all the phasing and emphasis on solo play in the outside world, I'm happy they put some quests like this in rather than flagging them as regular hostile NPCs. Good job, Blizz..

Bringing back Hillsbradesque battles is next on your list I hope?

OK, to clarify...the two chests below the stairs are NOT lootable currently, even those they sparkle. You want one of the two chests that appear and disappear to the left and right of the rear entrance in the corners. Be quick!

Hey whats up, I heard that i was suppose to get this quest line off the board in Org. I either never recieved it or abandoned it somehow. Is there anyway to get the quest again. I would love the portal, and i need to see a vendor there, who of course will not speak to me :) any help?

I tried to loot the box in the bottom of the zepplin once and it bugged out, i relogged tried again and it worked fine. Fly in thru the back, loot and jump into the water.

Ok sorry for being clueless, but are there different zeppelins?

I've done this quest 8 times now and 3 of them I seem to have gotten on a real zeppelin because the guards were flagged and I got flagged killing them *and* there was no silk in the cargo hold. Now this last time I got flagged and then I got stuck on the stairs where I couldn't run or anything and I had to hearth.

Also I guess I'm not a 1337 flyer because I can never get in the back door, on a gryphon or the halloween horse or a helicopter. Always get stuck.

I really enjoyed this quest. Tracking the zeppelin, using an intercept route, getting on it, killings some golbin crew members, taking what we need and getting the hell out.

This is far more realistic than those typical 'kill 20 of those' and after that 'kills 20 of those others' => Hooray you have defeated the quests. Also I like that how you act and which class you use makes a difference all the time even though it's the same quest. Like it.

I did this quest with no problems, no bugs, and no high-speed mount.

I waited at Dragonmaw Port for a Zepplin to land. Went in the back door and killed the dwarf. The chests were sparkling between the stairs. Got one and got out. The programming would not let me hit the propeller-acted like a wall. Went out the back door and made a quick turn to one side.

BTW this is not a normal Zepplin port such as the ones players use. The flying guards will not attack you. The port vanished when the quest was completed.

The mobs on the deck of the ship are Marechal-do-céu de Krazzodutos If you are having a hard time finding the ship try using a target macro on these guys.

Contrary to what someone earlier said, THEY DO ATTACK YOU.
My boomie died twice because all the guards above came down and had like 5 on 1.
Died once rezzed inside grabbed the item and died a second time before I could leave.
