Easiest quest... just run up to Solar Core.. don't bother killing the druids! and activate the Core.. you will be blasted to a perch on a pillar.. !

Actually if you recruit The Shadow Wardens with the quest The Shadow Wardens and kill Druid of the Flame near the core from this quest you have to look around of that druid's body and find Dried Acorn, accept the quest The Mysterious Seed and return it to Avrilla; she will unlock some new quest for you. :)

These dailies have me so incredibly confused. Are you supposed to get this quest the first day after you choose the shadow wardens? I haven't seen it or the Strike at the Heart quest. I did have to take the forlorn spire both days, and I'm not sure if that was supposed to happen. Is this a quest you are supposed to get everyday?

I have received this each day since unlocking this set of dailies; however, today I did not receive this quest, though it is indicated as "every day" in the guide. Rather I received 3 from the "limit 2 per day" set: , , and .

Really easiest quest if you have fear or mass cc, such as the warriors,dk's priests...
You don't have to dps any of them, just pull aggro then use fear or mass cc and you will be able to destroy solar core without any interruptions.

i got the wardens are watching first day i unlocked these guys when i turned this quest in i got this quest solar core destruction every day since i have gotten this quest from the guy anyone know if it was just a lucky fluke or does that all ways happen? i did wardens are watching quest again today but it was left over from yesterday so i am not sure if that effected it i had it happen before where i picked up all the dailies one day and did am another and got a whole new set of dailies anyone know anything about this?

I have died a number of times! Being a clothy mage probably doesn't help; I tried to pick of the druids of the flame one by one but couldn't clear the orb. Any suggestions?

DK's and Classes with Pets, Demons, and Elementals can do this easily.

you ride in to the area avoiding the Druids of the Flame going toward the Cliff on the far side of the Core circle area. Dismount then Command your Helper/Pet/Demon/Elemental to go (Go there Ability) distract only one of the Druids around the Circle. When the Helper has aggro you sneak in just barely enough that your Curser Gear wheel turns gold then you blow it up and you land on a Pillar that you can jump off of.
This of course is a Suicide Run for the Helper but it gives you time to get the job done.

I also used my Army of the Dead to help my Ghoul keep the agro I Set up the Army before sending my Ghoul to attract trouble. Didn't take any Damage myself.

Hunders could also use the Snake Trap to help the pet hold the agro I would think.

Casters have Fear they can use as well as Mass CC abilities to help them out also.

This is Really very Easy Peasy if you just aggro the one Druid of the Flame and sneak in while your companion helper pet holds and does the aggro.

If you're a hunter...

Misdirect to your pet, fire a couple of multishots into the group of druids, the destroy the solar core while they're distracted. Simple.

Seems to respawn pretty fast too.

This quest is practically cheating with a mage.

1) Cast invisibility as you approach the core, you've got twice as much time as you need. Stand directly under the core and activate it, nothing will be able to tag you in the short time your invisibility is dropped.

2) When you get blown up to the spire, cast slow fall and gently glide down to the ground.

Not even 1 hit point shed! Done in 12 seconds flat.

For mages who are having a hard time getting to the core without being swarmed by treant's or simply a mass of Druid of the Flame. Here is what I finally did after not being able to use invisibility to get to the core or blink to the core and detonate it.

Cast Ring of Frost with the core at the center of the ring
while the Frost ring is forming Blink to the core.
If you blink inside the Frost ring there is plenty of time to detonate the core.

My favorite part is when you get blasted away and the Druids of the Flame stare up at you and can't reach you.

Exceptionally easy as a paladin. I just mount up, turn on my Crusader Aura, then run up to the middle and bubble. If someone else has aggro'd the other mobs nearby, I'll just use my bubble on the way down from the pillar. Kind of a fun quest ;)

As a "squishy" rogue, I am having a heck of a time! I can't clear the orb. I can't detonate it because I get swarmed. Have no idea how to complete this quest. Any ideas?

Edit = I was finally able to kill 3 of the druids and then just sapped the 4th before any of the others respawned to give me grief.

Easiest quest ever for mages (or anyone else with invisibility or stealth). Go invisible, run past the deadly druids to the core, click it. Done. The core will explode before the druids kill you, and you'll be blown to safety on top of a rock. ... ... ... And now that I think about it, even if you don't stealth, I'm sure you can just bum-rush the druids to the core and click before you're killed. Don't waste your time and life trying to kill them first.

Surprisingly easy with a shaman.

Ran into the center of the group, dropped my earth ele totem (the one that agro's EVERYTHING) and activated at my leisure while my ele took the hits...

Should this vessel detonate on Azeroth, none of us will have a home to return to.
