To complete this quest, go to Ashwood Lake in the Grizzly Hills. It's east of Ashwood Post and south of Camp Oneqwah. Use the lip balm and /kiss a Lake Frog along the lake's north shore. You'll need to reapply the Warts-B-Gone Lip Balm after each kiss. Eventually, one of the frogs will turn into the Maiden of Ashwood Lake. Talk to her to obtain the sword and complete the quest.

This quest, along with The Edge Of Winter, and A Worthy Weapon, is one of three weapon-fetching dailies available to Argent Tournament Aspirants and Valiants. Each faction has its own version, though they're identical aside from the specific quest NPC. This particular quest is for Thunder Bluff Valiants. The other versions are:

The rep reward from this (and other valiant quests) is actually 62 rep with all horde factions other than the one you take the quest with, 250 for the horde faction the quest is from and 250 for the Sunreavers.

For example: If you complete this quest as a valiant of Thunderbluff, you'll receive:

250 rep with Thunderbluff
250 rep with Sunreavers
and
62 rep with Undercity, Silvermoon, Darkspear Trolls, and Orgrimmar

Note that while I did not receive any in-game notification of the rest of the reputation gains, checking my rep bars before and afterwards it is clear that you do actually receive them. Completing all 4 dailies will award you 1000 rep with each of Sunreavers and Thunderbluff and 250 rep with all other horde factions.

You will find lots of Lake Frogs at 61.5, 49.1 but be prepared to kiss a lot of frogs, lol.
(don't forget the lip balm so you won't get warts. rofl)

If you use the Questie Addon. It shows what Frog you need to Kiss. It got a Speech Bubble on it.

I've heard that the Alliance champions are seeking after ancient blades for their warriors. We can't afford to let them have that kind of advantage.

There's an old legend from Grizzly Hills about a maiden cursed with a frog's form to protect the blade she has long guarded. She lives among the lake frogs on the shore of Ashwood Lake, just east of Ashwood Post. The only thing said to break the curse is a kiss, freely given. Apply this balm before kissing anything, <name>. Otherwise, you'll catch warts.
