Found a dirt mound at 32, 60 on a plateau with forlorn spirits underneath the tram lines.

Examined the mound to start a fight with black conrad and 2 ghosts. Quest item was on conrad's corpse.

teh respawn timer on this dirt pile is obscenely long, if you are on a pvp server be ready to get ganked several times when trying to tag your mob

respawn on this is about 3 mins. Timed it with starfall cool down.

The exact coordinates are 32.7 60.2. The long respawn time makes the decimal points relevant for this quest.

Quest reward is Black Conrad's Treasure. Mine contained Deep Peridot, Aquamarine, and a Dawnstone. Not great loot, but not terrible either.

It can be a bit tricky to get there even with co-ords. Take the path up, which begins at 28.76,61.39, then the first bridge across,which starts at 29.63,60.92.

This quest is bugged. Im alliance and i picked it up, but wowhead says its a horde quest.

It seems death hasn't changed his dislike of paying his debts.

On a side note, the quest name is likely a reference to "Dead Man's Chest", a sailor's work song from Louis Stevenson's book Treasure Island.

It's not on the island you got the quest, it's the other one that has Kamagua.
I got mixed up with the place but i now found it. thankfully.

32,60 in the middle of the bridge connected plateau's

Look for the forlorn souls and you'll see the Dirt Mound

When you click it it will spawn Black Conrad's ghost (lvl 71) and 2 lvl 70 adds)

kill them and loot Conrad's corpse for the Treasure.

On the green grassy part of the isle of spears. There are three plateaus that will appear on your minimap when you get close to them. They are connected by a series of bridges and trails. You want to be on the largest one (NE one in the grouping). This plateau has a bunch of undead forlorn souls on it. Right in the middle of the plateau is the dirt mount that is clickable. As Amethyst said, it spawns Conrad and two sailors. Conrad drops the treasure. I found it pretty simple as a beast mastery hunter I just had my pet go in and get the threat. Then I stood back and killed them one at a time.

Taruk at Scalawag Point wants you to search for Black Conrad's Treasure on the plateau in the northeastern end of the Isle of Spears, just north of Iskaal.

Well, he had a thing for gambling on my fights. He had a thing for not paying, too.

I'd love to collect, but trouble is... he's dead.

I was about ready to write the whole thing off, when I came across this...

He hid his treasure on tuskarr land. I want you to get it. I'll be damned if I let that bilge sucker get away without paying.
