This flower is mostly found in watery areas (near lakes and mostly in Vashj'ir ).

So far, I've found this herb in Hyjal near any of the lakes or small rivers/streams/ponds, and all over Vashj'ir

This herb is a major bottleneck for leveling Alchemy, since almost all of the 455-475 recipes use it. Expect prices to be high.

I have been farming this flower for a short while in different parts of Vashjir and i have to say its a pain in the ass to get. The area is large, the spawns are far away from eachother etc etc. Happy hunting!

Like everyone else I was dreading having to farm this herb but the best place I've found is Abyssal Depths. Now that most people are done leveling the place is deserted, there is no competition. I just did a circuit of the nodes shown on the map and the respawns are pretty quick. In about 30 minutes I've farmed about 4 stacks of Azshara's Veil and 2 1/2 of Stormvine. Good Luck!

The northern island of Tol Barad can be an absolute goldmine for this herb. In the pirate/crab area (where Tank is) you can find three-four nodes at any one time not too far into the water. It also spawns in all of the rivers that cross the zone.

If you're a Death Knight, Shaman or Jesus, Go to Tol Barad peninsula. Take laps in the river and through cape of lost hope. The competition is so low, and the amount of herbs are astounding. I've made 5 stacks in under 40 minutes, and there's literally no one else farming these.

It will go a lot slower without waterwalking, but it's still doable.

I've done some tests and I definitely got the most herbs in Shimmering Expanse. I actually managed to get 1 stack of these in an average of 7 minutes. Really good for farming some gold since they sell for 130 - 180g per stack on the server I'm playing on.

i did get 5 stacks in 10mins at tol barad peninsula... so its the best place to farm it.

I am not a botanist in real life, and also I am aware of the fact that nature's laws in Azeroth behave differently from how they do on Earth, but isn't it weird that a certain type of plant grows both on land and under water..?

Tol Borad Peninsula is probably one of the best places to farm this (of course, I'm playing on a PvE server, so not a whole lot of PvPers running around doing dailies/farming). I play a Priest, so levitate allows me to walk on water. Unfortunately I can't mount up and use levitate, so I have to walk around the long way. Still, gathered 8 stacks in about an hour and twenty minutes.

If you're in Tol Barad, you can easily navigate by mounting, autorun, and hold down space on the surface of the water. I run at 220% run speed as a warlock.. BAM
