Wushoolay is a troll ghost, previously seen/spawned at the Edge of Madness event in the old . He has various items named after him ( like these ) as well. Here's his old NPC page with his drops and strats for his old encounter: Wushoolay.

Got him today. Nothing special, stay out of the lightning clouds - they look like Hurricanes, and run away when he casts .

Worth noting, that any Edge of Madness boss seems to only be able to be summoned by a full-skill Archaeologist.

This is one of the possible four bosses in the Cache of Madness event in Zul'Gurub. The bosses in the event can only be summoned if you have an archaeologist in your group with a minimum of 425 skill. You activate the event by having the archaeologist examine the artifacts scattered throughout the room and locating four 'false' artifacts. When found, the artifact will begin to float in a circle around the room. The boss will become active shortly after the final artifact is found.

Wushoolay has several abilities to be aware of. He will cast Hurricane at random players that must move out of. He will also randomly target a player and charge them after a brief cast time- players must move out of the targeted area. He will also cast Lightning Rod- this will kill any player near him, all players (including tank) must move away.

Incorrect. I was able to do this at 348 archeology.

Actually, according to the text, the four artifacts are true artifacts, while the others are a combination of worthless, damaged, or badly aged.

The Archaeology skill required to summon the boss is only 225. Confirmed by being 224 and not being able to, solved an artifact and was 229 and able to. Blizzard likes to use increments of no less than 5 for their requirements. Enjoy getting the 225 archaeology to get some easy loot.

This guys' wipe move is a charge that kills anyone near his destination. He locks on to a position where a player is standing, and charges to that spot a couple seconds later. You have to run away before he gets there.

The easiest way is just to stay at long range and move continuously in a circle around him. You'll be out of the danger zone before you see that he's lining up a charge.

I never noticed him charging at melee, but they would be well-advised to run away from his abilities as well.

I noticed something about the artifacts, I think the one you activate first causes the boss that is being summoned.

Genjuros, troll shaman. Needs his kilt.
Got as only one enough archa so no one disrupted the summoning.
My summonning went like this: Dwarf, Fossil, Nelf, Troll.
I did this on three seperate runs, and always this exact boss spawned. So, if you need loot of this boss, feel free to try.

UPDATE: As of 14 may this works for the troll rogue.

easy fight run from his attacks and you'll be ok. he yells about some storm stuff but i jus kept running away and we killed him.
