Primary stat is the massive strength, which means the classes rolling for this are Warriors, Death Knights, Paladins, and tanking Druids.

The secondary dps stat is haste, which is pretty crappy for Warriors and Druids. This leave Death Knights and Paladins. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe haste is not good for Blood DKs, though might be a good stat for Unholy DKs, while some believe that haste's good for SoB/M procs for Paladins, others disagree.

Edit: Well they're taking out SoB/M next patch so might not be good for pally now, and why am I getting down rated for correct information.

I doubt anyone is disagreeing that haste is good for SoB/M procs. Most-likely, they are just stating that the attribute is less than ideal (like armor penetration) for a paladin because it doesn't affect all of our damage like strength and hit (until cap, obviously).

Current stat weights put haste somewhere between armor penetration and crit. Haste only affects white swings and the resultant Seal of Blood procs (not the additional Seal of Blood procs from instant attacks like Crusader Strike and Divine Storm).

Having said that, this ring is right in line with Sif's Promise and Bladebearer's Signet, depending on your cap situation. Eventually you will probably replace Construct, because the current ret itemization is pretty good on end-game gear. I picked it up even though I'm hit-capped right now because I know I'll be getting a new weapon soon (replacing Death's Bite) and will need the hit.

this droped and the plate dps ring droped off FL on the same run and the same guy won both... and he had under 3k dps on XT......
