makes me wish that the baseline heal for each thirst proc was at least 1%, might go a ways towards making sitting in berserker stance most of the time not quite so terrible.

So… I have a beef with this glyph. But before my rant, here’s some theoretical math:

Assuming a warrior of level 80 in decent PvP gear (because I see no reason this would find any use in PvE) has around 20k health, and he gets in all 5 of his hits after using Bloodthirst, this ability will heal him for 3% of his maximum health: 600.

The glyph adds 20% to this heal, making it 3.6% of his maximum health or 720 HP, a gain of 120 HP every 6 seconds, or 20 HP/second.

Now do you see why I have a problem with this glyph? I'm pretty sure that joke of a troll racial (+10% total health regen and 10% health regen while in combat) is about as good as this, and warriors USE NO SPIRIT.

Why is this a major glyph? Why is this even a glyph at all? Either change it so that it's decent for PvE (rage reduction, damage increase, AP increase, whatever) or so that it's decent for PvP (utility). A major glyph for 20 hp/s in optimal conditions (read: you have to get all 5 hits in before your next bloodthirst, and your next bloodthirst needs to come exactly 6 secods later, or your HPS goes down) is a freaking joke.

I'd like to see them make it more useful for PvE. Fury warriors don't have many glyphs at the moment that are useful in a raid situation, and this glyph is seriously ridiculous.

PS:
Rank 1 healing touch, available to druids at level 1, is on average 29 HPS. Just thought that would put it in perspective.

the new bloodthirst and the old bloodthirst, discounting the glyph change, restore up to the same amount of health per bloodthirst.

5 * .6 = 3
3 * 1 = 3

The glyph affects them both identically due to a basic rule of multiplication; regardless of what order you multiply things in, you'll get the same product. The new glyph would make both versions of bloodthirst restore 6% of your health if fully utilized.

I learned this glyph from minor research not northrend.

I just learned this glyph by completing Minor Inscription Research. Seem as if Blizzard has made it so that both researches are learning both glyphs? I only discovered this because I'm still trying to learn Glyph of Lay on Hands and according to Ackis Recipe List addon its learned from Northrend Inscription Research, but WoWhead is showing it as Minor Inscription Research. I did the Minor to see and got Glyph of Bloody Healing. Maybe we can learn them all twice as fast now.

NEW: Glyph of Bloody Healing - Increases the healing you receive from bandages by 20% while your Deep Wounds is active.
