Definitely one of the more useful minor glyphs for priests. It makes SP less bothersome to keep up in PvP, reduces the time and mana spent rebuffing the raid in PvE, and could potentially save you from having to rebuff at all during 'gauntlet' type events (Mount Hyjal being perhaps the prime example).

As Shadow Protection is now a 1 hour group buff this glyph is pretty much obsolete unless you particularly want it to last 70 minutes.

They should replace this with Minor Glyph of Shadow Ravens: Your Shadow Orbs now resemble Shadow Ravens. This concept is based on Onslaught Raven Bishop.

In Mists of Pandaria this glyph has changed. Resistances have been removed from the game and Shadow Protection is no longer a priest spell. The Reflective Shield ability for disc. priests has been removed as a talent and added back in as this glyph instead.

OLD: Glyph of Shadow Protection - Increases the duration of your Shadow Protection spell by 10 min.

NEW: Glyph of Reflective Shield - Causes 45% of the damage you absorb with Power Word: Shield to reflect back at the attacker. This damage causes no threat.
