This is semi-valuable but unless you are really lazy or forgetful you aren't going to want to waste a minor slot on this glyph.

May only be created by Inscriptors through Minor Inscription Research - this is not trainer learned, making this Inscription semi-rare.

The glyph itself is decent, but doesn't offer any DPS increase or a mana-linked cooldown/cost reduction, making it a secondary choice for most Mages.

Well i wouldnt say it's a bad glyph, a 1hr Frost/Ice armor would be quite nice

So if u hate recasting this every 30 mins, this will be a relief.....i hope :S

This is actually pretty good for leveling. Now that arcane powders stack to 100, you can get this glyph and just use arcane brilliance to buff once an hour.

This, along with glyph of slow fall and arcane intellect, are the only minor glyphs that are actually useful for a mage.

Before 4.0.1 , this item was the Glyph of Frost Armor (Increase the duration of your Frost Armor and Ice Armor spells by 30 min; thanks, xnihilo) ; in 4.0.1 all copies of this item were turned into Glyph of Conjuring and Glyph of Frost Armor no longer exists.

I strongly recommend this Glyph to anyone who runs a lot of dungeons. The other two minor Glyphs I recommend are Glyph of Slow Fall and Glyph of Armors.
Anyone who plays a Mage knows that we're in a constant state of drinking and conjuring gems between pulls, and this dramatically cuts down on our downtime, making it easier to deal with aggressive tanks.

Think this is bugged. I'm spending the full 12k or so mana to make a Mana Gem. I have this glyph in both specs so it's not that I'm forgetting if it's active or not. The tooltip itself has the halved cost on it, but it won't let me cast it until I have around 12k mana.

EDIT: Turns out it costs the full price if you're recharging the Mana Gem. Because I almost never let my gem run out, I didn't notice this sooner. I threw away my gem and when I remade it it cost the 6k like it said on the tooltip.

In Mists of Pandaria this glyph has changed.

OLD: Glyph of Conjuring - Reduces the mana cost of your Conjuring spells by 50%.
NEW: Glyph of Conjure Familiar - Conjures a familiar stone, containing either an Arcane, Fiery, or Icy Familiar.
