So this either drops in:
EoE25
Naxx25, excluding KT

Shooting Stars would fit the EoE "Galactic"-theme, and i did see relics drop in naxx but never ever in the Obsidian Sanctum.

Nevertheless this idol is probably the best for PvE-Moonkins, together with MF+SF Glyphs the way to go i think :)

Currently, unbuffed, I have over 40% Starfire crit with Talents and 4 Piece T7 set bonus.

With my rotations and eclipse procs, at the end of a full naxx clear I have ~70% crits with Starfire casts.

Unfortunately, I still don't have this Idol as I've been very unlucky with drops, and even into Ulduar I will probably continue attempting to get this.

Additionally, if you feel that Starfire Eclipse procs skew my alleged 40%+ crit rating, my Wrath crit is usually around 44% in the same Recount report.

This idol on a well-geared moonkin should generate an extra ~100 DPS easily with proper rotations.

Yeah, I've killed Razuvious many times now, and never seen this drop. The armory says 15-24% drop, but I'm inclined to believe the 8% stated here on wowhead.

Edit: This dropped twice in one run, from both Razuv and Gluth. The second one got disenchanted /cry

Patch 3.1 update:

This item (along with other naxx idols, sigils, and librams) can now be purchased at the Emblem of Valor Quartermaster for 25 Emblems of Valor.

Yes, that is correct...this idol can now (as of 3.1) be bought for 25 emblems of valor (a few more than one full Naxx25 clear) or it can be dropped with its usual frustratingly low drop rate off razuvious or gluth.

In terms of how this stacks up to other idols, current theorycrafting has this as being *better* than Idol of the Crying Wind from Kologarn in Ulduar 25, assuming that you cast at least two starfires per insect swarm cast (which almost anyone using a proper rotation should). Thus for the time being this is a best-in-slot item for a lunar-eclipse rotation moonkin. The wrath idol from heroic badges offers more benefit than this item to any moonkin using a solar eclipse rotation.

Recommended Macro's:

Wrath+Idol
/cast Wrath
/equip Idol of Steadfast Renewal

Starfire+Idol
/cast Starfire
/equip Ivory Idol of the Shooting Star

These macros will equip the idols *after* you cast the first Wrath/Starfire. This is important because the gear swap triggers the GCD. Spam your Wrath macro until Eclipse procs, then spam the Starfire macro. You won't lose any DPS to switching the idols and you'll gain *almost* the full benefit from the idols on every cast of Wrath and Starfire.
