Unfortunately, no.

Wolves can never learn to stealth, if you want a pet able to do that you have to go with a cat.

Tip: If you click the (Wolf) link in quick facts, you can see which spells wolves can learn.

You find these things using Prowl in the Hinterlands, why can't they use it after you tame them?

wolf's can prowl ive seen one in prowl but i dont know what lvl u get the prowl for wolfs.i think its like lvl 60 or somthing

Found a nice grouping of these wolves at 67,53 in Hinterlands. If you don't have coords, follow the road east. When the road forks and heads north and south... continue east. There is a small hill with owlbeasts around it. I approached this hill from the north of it (as will you if you follow the directions here). I did not need to engage any owlbeasts and had my wolf flanks for the "Food for Baby" quest in about 3 minutes. Be careful if you are lower level as you may well get two of these wolves at a time.

I think they are all stealthed. They can be found anywhere as indicated on the map, but I found a big bunch of them around the big hill at 66,53.

I don't believe the level range listed here for these wolves is correct. They do NOT start at level 44 they are all level 47-48! I wasted my time trying to find the level 44-45 wolves when I was level 42 and found none. However I was found by lots of 47-48 wolves. Killing these wolves is required for the Sprite Darter quest so if you are a low 40's trying to do it you will find it difficult to do this part solo. These wolves stay stealthed continuously until they attack.

They are really annoying..really, really, really the reason to get rage meter full in real life.
They are really stealthed and you cant really see them clearly there. Even with paranoia or detect lesser invisi its kinda hard to see 50% clear mob in place like hinterlands.
If you go with mount -> They aggro you right away, if you think you can just mount away you're wrong. More stealth wolfs come to your a**, then more, then you're dazed and you die. They are too near each other.. Its like every 15 yards is one or 2 wolfs. And they walk to near each other too so one mob down -> other one comes and then other. 3 is usual, 4 is hell.
Walking -> Prepare to kill huge amounts of these if you're going to raventusk village or near the shore. Or just be at halfway in HL. Ironically, when you reach the village you get quest to kill 15 of them. heh.

btw, if youre hunter use the beast detect thing :)

These are big wolves - taller than gnomes (what isn't?) and quite a lot of them stealth.

I swam out around the eastern contient and bumped into these guys, acctuly two of them as they where steaslthed.
I asked someone to rez me, and they walked over, then the two revelid them selves as he ran on his kodo yelling 'SCREW YOU! there right there'

A few tips on finding these: Turn you sound on and run around on your mount. You will here the stealthed sound when you run by one. From there just run around that spot spamming tab until you target it. Once you find them the fight is pretty easy.

They seem to have a lot of armor. Only doing ~100dmg in white hits to them, when I have nearly 300dmg per hit in my character sheet.

They are black now and no longer stalk. I guess Blizzard really doesn't know what words mean.
