These and the Primitive Owlbeasts share the same respawn timer. Since theres a quest for the Howlers and not the Owlbeasts, theres usually not a lot of Howlers up. One clear of all the owlbeasts will be enough to get your 10 howlers if this is the case.

These guys no longer stealth and are no longer white. :P making it rather easy to both find them and round em up for AoE grinding.

wtf I tried to find some of this bastards and I found one ONLY ONE wtf .... I searched the whole zone and the locations shown on the map and still only ONE #$%^ING spawn. god damn

The spawn rate for these guys is way down now so be prepared to do some searching throughout the area.

Apparently these do not drop Tender wolf meat anymore. After about 20-25 kills all I got was Red Wolf Meat.

Shares spawnpoints with Primitive Owlbeasts, kill these to get howlers to spawn.

They share spawn slots with 远古枭兽s. So if you have issues finding any Howlers like me, try to slay the Owlbeasts and eventually, the Howlers will pop up.
