Dialogs:
Default, if your enginery skill < 260 and you are not gnomish engineer:

With some of technology that was recovered by bold gnomes venturing into Gnomeregan, I have managed to construct my greatest invention: The Matter Transporter! All I need now is a skilled Gnomish Engineer to build a powerful beacon attuned to the transporter.

If you have enginery skill >= 260 and you are gnomish engineer, there is dialog option:

I must build a beacon for this marvelous device!

If you have learned how to create Ultrasafe Transporter - Gadgetzan:

Once you have built the device, you simply activate the device to be whisked away to lovely Gatgetzan! Nearly everyone who has used this device has arrived on the pad here looking just the way they did when they began!

There have been some reported problems with transportees being replaced by their evil selves from an alternative universe, but i'm sure we will have that worked out soon...

If you have used Ultrasafe Transporter - Gadgetzan:

If you figure out any way to improve the device let me know!

On the character realm transfer page, if you hover over the gnome, his name is Jhordy Lapforge.

Jhordy stands beside a teleporter in Gadgetzan that's the same as the one in Booty Bay. Unfortunately my engineer alt is L31 and thus doesn't qualify yet for making the beacon he asks for.

So the question is... where does the portal lead once you create a beacon? (Which is assumedly a quest)

Haven't tried it yet .. i'm at lvl 225 enginerring
but since there's a teleport in BB and in Gadgetzan .. my guess would be that they teleport u between BB and Gadgetzan

What beacon is he asking for? does anyone know? im at 259 engineering and so far he hasnt given any quests whatsoever.

once you have 260 engineering, he will give you a free schematic for a transponder. what this transponder does is teleport the user to his little teleport pad.

the requirements for building this are:

12 mithril bars
4 core of earth
2 globes of water
1 inlaid mithril cylinder

This guy will give a gnomish engineer of the right skill level the schematics for an Ultrasafe Transporter: Gadgetzan.

He says that if I find any way to improve on the design, to let him know. Haven't found any clues on that.

i've saw like more places of those portals
one ouside gnomergan (inside one room in gnomergan the non-instance)
Booty bay (near inn)
Winterspring
gatgetzan (you'll know where)
aria 52 (didn't checked)
and proby in ratchet

i think this becoas there all goblins towns.
maby its like a gnomish self teleport as a mage can
(teleport IF, SW,Darnassus ect ect. but then as engeneering way)
