actually Shalug'doom, the Axe of Unmaking from cho'gall is better for warriors than this sword due to the high amount of exp

Do note that the removal of initials from the hilt and the reduction in size have yielded an almost 9 time increase in dps. Further tests must be conducted to reproduce this effect on some other rather large weapons .

Please keep misinformed thotbottish comments to yourself, crit is not by any means the worst secondary stat for retribution and has never been. This is a BiS melee weapon, that is all.

Crit is the BEST stat for Fury warriors, it is not the best stat for Ret Paladins. Mastery is. So this weapon is in fact a bigger upgrade (assuming the ret and fury warrior have the same previous weapn) for the warrior than the hunter.

Any loot council should be aware of this and prioritize fury warriors over ret paladins, to achieve a bigger upgrade for your raid's dps :3

This weapon is just as good in the hands of a paladin as it would be in the hands of a TG warrior. Yes, though mastery is a more favorable secondary stat for retribution paladins, the weapon damage alone makes it worth the mastery loss due to our Judgements and Seals not being normalized. Also, bear in mind that we can still reforge the hit/crit for more mastery.

Crit is the worst stat for Ret Paladins for example.

Any loot council should take this into consideration.

I believe you mean HASTE is not our most sterling stat. Any GOOD loot council should take into consideration that this sword is BiS for any plate melee class that uses two-handers within their spec instead of giving a single class first priority over others.
