great belt for a lowb caster, or even a hunter/druid. Combine this witht he robes of arugal and the feline mantle and you're set till at least lvl 30.

+10 intellect should raise anyone's mana by alot, i got this belt and the group i was in was warriors and hunters so they let me (healing druid) have it. It's a nice belt and at lvl 24 it really should replace any other belt you are wearing if your a mage, priest, or a mage. I am a druid and putting on this belt was differant for me because i am allowed to wear leather and there are leather belts that are better than this one but for healing and mana this belt is best you can get by far in the 20s.

A neat addition to WoWHead would be the ability to recommend replacements for gear. Because, as great as this belt is, there could be better things once you hit 30.

personaly i prefer https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=6908 just because its got 6 more spell power and its got stamina. 6 spell power is better then 6 int imo and its easier to get. just my 2 cents though

I'm a level 40 rogue who soloed this entire instance last night. It sure was tough in a couple of different places, though the end battle was easy. This belt dropped the first time I killed him.

Yeah, Robe and Belt of Arugal is pretty much the definitive caster set for lowbies. The set has great stats and looks cool to boot.

I couldnt believe it, haha, i completed the whole thing, won the roll, and lost the belt because my inventory was full. GAHH! But its all good, ill do it again, but the lesson here is always keep room when you go into SFK, especially if your a caster.

I raided this instance over 10 times trying to get the dagger that the boss drops. Got the Belt 8 times, Got the Cloak 2 times, Got the Dagger 0 times.

This belt seems to be the most common loot for this boss to drop.

Man i got some use out this belt, used it until a lvl 48 mage, then i bought serenity belt at AH. I never found one that was that much better and it had some sentamental value as well.

I ran a good run today in SFK, Eerie stable lantern dropped, the rare spawn dropped a sword ((I didn't really care, I was on my mage)) but still, it was fine. But when we got to the Wolf Master before Arugal, Feline Mantle drops, and 1 of our paladins rolls Need for it! Wtf? I rolled need as well, and I won it. Then we went on to Arugal, belt drops, and the pally rolls need on it! WTF? I lost that time, and the stupid paladin says "I'm holy specced, it will be good for healing gear"

It wasn't that bad, it was the belt, the most common drop. If it was the robe however...
Well, why the HELL would a paladin, who wears mail, roll Need on a cloth item? I don't know, maybe its drugs... maybe its just common stupidity.
So, if something stupid like that happens, use master looter, and master looter is NOT just for end game instances for all you idiots out there who think that.

Later on, I had the same paladin in the group. So I sent the leader a message to use master looter before Wolf Master, and he understood my problem. Soon after arugal dies, belt drops, and the leader passes it to me.

No. Paladins should stick to mail at that level despite what spec. Personally i would rather have more armor and be able to take some damage even whilst healing than to have more mana. Noob pally rolls on this tbh

I ran SFK a couple of times yesterday (im lvl 24 warlock) and the belt dropped two times. First time it got ninjad by a warrior! i hate ninjas!

But the second time I ran the instance i dropped i needrolled 80 or something and i got it. And i just have to say IT OWNS. every mage, lock and priest should get one...

They have to have changed the drop rate on this. I've been running SFK constantly and I haven't even seen it once. I've seen the robes at least 7 times, and meteor shard 3. Is there just something wrong with my luck, or has it actually changed?

I was playing my lv. 37 priest when i came across this instance. i saw a lv. 39 shaman and asked her what was in there she told me about the instance so i said hey how about we give it a go... We Came We Saw We Conqured i got that belt my first time and i don't think i'll change it for a long time... ^_^

i run SFK like 3 times a day and the belt NEVER drops...i always get robes but thats good somewhat because im an enchanter

Yeah, my mage has this belt, Very good for mana users, i.e. Mages, warlock and preist. Shamans and pallys and hunters also use mana but should rather use leather, i got the robes and belt of arugal and the amys blanket, twisted chanters staff, he is lvl 24, and he now has 2000 mana, (very good for lvl 24) so to all warlocks, preists and mages out there, try get most of the items i just said :)

The 'New' stats are only activated on the test server. How do I know that? Mouse over the icon above, the one under the highest one. It shows live stats, and test stats.

This belt is pretty snazzy! :)

I still have it on my 40 Mage, though god knows why.

Once you can do Razorfen Downs, and you kill Fire Eye, he will sometimes drops the Deathmage Sash, which i must say, is a lot better than this.

Nonetheless, this belt is the best one for casters for 15 Levels or so.

just had this ninja'd from my priest... shaman named asphalt on Kil'Jeaden server. aweful team player, must have been about 5 years old. shoulda gone with my instincts and booted him earlier.

on a more positive note, i did get the robe and the feline mantle on an earlier run, they're very nice and i'm sure my priest will keep them for a while :)

SFK is a nice place to go, its got some sweet drops. I got the belt and the robe. Used the robe till 35 and belt till 38.

I've run SFK 5 times with my priest and each and every time I've been unlucky enough to get the robes... thank goddess she's an enchanter ^.^ A few more runs today and hopefully this belt will be mine >:D
