This isn't enough to say anything for sure, but I milled 7 stacks of Cinderbloom (28 casts) and received:

68 Ashen Pigment
7 Burning Embers

Which is an average of about 4-5 blackfallow ink and 1 ember per stack of cinderbloom

I think milled 5 stacks of Twilight Jasmine (20 casts) and received

53 Ashen Pigment
8 Burning Embers

for an average of 5 ink and 1 1/2 embers per stack

Edit: I saw an average of about 6 blackfallow ink and 1 inferno ink per stack of Whiptail, then milled 10 more stacks of Cinderbloom and got 5 blackfallow ink and 1 ember per stack on average

I just milled through 47 stacks of Cinderbloom, and it's safe to say that the same split we had in WotLK has carried on into Cataclysm herbs.

Low end herbs:
Cinderbloom
Heartblossom
Stormvine
Azshara's Veil

High end herbs:
Whiptail
Twilight Jasmine

Low end herbs yield 5 Blackfallow inks and 0.5 Inferno inks per stack of herbs milled ( on average), while high end herbs yield 6 Blackfallow inks and 1 Inferno ink per stack of herbs milled ( on average).

For those ppl who selling in AH for one piece of ashen pigment worth 15g tht is not right. To sell it is worth for one ashen pigment is 25 silver so either that. i would go heck with it.

I just milled 39 stacks of Cinderbloom (low end herb)

I got:

208 Blackfallow ink
23 Inferno Ink.

So saying 0.5 Inferno and 5 Blackfallow per stack of low end herbs is correct

I Milled 100 stacks of Twilight jasmine

I got:
1204 Ashen Pigments and
221 Burning Embers

So:
6,02 Blackfallow Inks for each stack and
1,105 Inferno inks for each stack

According to my data, the drop rates for the pigments are:

烬色染料:
300% for 暮光茉莉 and 鞭尾草
270% for 心灵之花 and 艾萨拉雾菇
250% for 风暴藤 and 燃烬草

燃烧的余烬:
50% for 暮光茉莉 and 鞭尾草
25% for 心灵之花, 艾萨拉雾菇, 风暴藤, and 燃烬草

AS of 11 May 2020 th3e pre cata is going on, bud sadly they already turned off all ink trades except for this ink, and we cant farm this ink ingredients till after 20 MAY when it goes live..
So gotta farm like crazy to get my snowfall ink, since I cant buy it anymore.
