Based on some BT tests I ran, when both trinkets proc and I'm in battle stance and the target has sunder and faerie, a 1665 tooltip bloodthirst hits for 2200, a 32% damage gain over what zero armor without negative values should offer.

Going to try more tests with mace spec, heh.

For now though, here's a WMO of a Sarth25 pug I did to get some numbers... not the 12k MS crit and the 25k execute, no hysteria or tricks.

Blue: We are now considering capping armor penetration at 100%. Armor could no longer go negative. We're not sure if we would do this in a hotfix or in 3.1.2. We just wanted to let anyone know who is furiously trying to acquire every armor pen item in the game.

Any feral druid who is not stacking ArP is doing it wrong, simple as this. I'm sitting at 20% passive now, with mostly Naxx level gear. In a month or two when I'm sitting in Ulduar Gear (Hard Modes), will be around 30% PASSIVE, on Cat DPS. Stack that with Mjol for like 80%, don't need Grim Toll in the other slot, I'll take greatness for the AP and 4% crit.

Internal cooldown is same as Grim Toll at 45 seconds. This is a common cooldown for many passive trinkets.

If you're wondering about the "soft" caps for ArP when you have these ArP trinkets, this is what you are aiming for with gear

ArP Soft-cap: 619.6 ArPen, if wearing Grim Toll
ArP Soft-cap: 566.6 ArPen, if wearing Mjolnir Runestone

Any more than that on the rest of your gear will put you over the ArP cap when these trinket procs.

Update for 3.2.2 - so ArP gets nerfed (no big surprises there)

The new ArP cap is 1399.57
At level 80, 13.99572719 ArP is required to get 1% Arp

Which means
Mjolnir Runestone is now worth 47.51% Arp
So to hit the cap now you need another 734.63 from gear

Grim Toll is now worth 43.72% Arp
So to hit the cap now you need another 787.67 from gear

Hopefully my math isn't too faulty there :)

Well then if the cap has been reduced to 100% no more, why not try "not stacking ArP gear, keeping the two trinkets and gemming/gearing for other stats respectively. We all know these proc ridiculously, and GT alone is 43.7% Armor reduction on Proc. However this is just a suggestion because i will be using passive ArP. Just a suggestion if you would like to use both. As it stands with current calculations made by the Wowhead staff on their stat conversion table (Which they have stated could and probably are off) and using the best gems and gear in the game (Keep in mind this is for a Combat-Fist Specced rogue) the stats would be as follows....
/ 4935 AP (Converted by Agi {1681 equaling 1738}, Raw AP {2901}) and (Tier-9 Rogue Talent-Savage Combat {+4% equaling 296})/
/ 48.07% Crit (Also converted by Agi {1681 Agi } and +Crit {810 CR} (Tier-1 Rogue Talent-Malice 5/5 {5% Melee Crit chance}) as well as (Tier-3 Rogue Talent -Close Quarters Combat 5/5 {5% Melee Crit chance} with Daggers and/or Fist Weapons) respectively/
/137 HaR equaling 5.37% and (Lightning reflexes, Rogue 4-th Tier Talent 10% melee haste) Total 15.37% haste (Passive)/
/625 HR equaling 24.06% increase in chance to hit (in other words you would never miss if a S-Priest is present{White damage included} Keep in mind thats on a Lvl 80 npc, all endgame bosses are considered 3 levels higher at 83 for HR, they are indeed ? on HP.) If only i had 50,000k Hp, can you say easy 3k Arena ranking, lol./
/423 ArP equaling 34.34% reduction in enemy armor./
/182 Exp rating equaling 32 Exp skill which is a 8% reduction in enemy avoidance(I do believe bosses have a 6% chance to dodge from behind which is were i... {as a rogue} usually am) So i believe that is fine./

So with that if you aren't doing ridiculous dps at that point something is wrong.
Depends on your spec and rotation i suppose.

Just for the sake of lols, this trinket should proc a little Master Chief that runs around with an assault rifle and spartan laser to pwn the faces of your enemies... and critters... and those train sets :P

(For those that are confused "MJOLNIR" is the name of the armor Spartans wear in Halo)

still a damn good trinket for armor pen classes, has better uptime (procs on all attacks) and therefore better dps than Needle Encrusted Scorpian (procs only on crits)
