You gain:
+7 Stamina
+5 Intellect
+4 Spirit
+2 spellpower

You lose:
+4 crit rating (.08%)

Decent trade off, if you count the appearance of it.

Actually the BiS for a Holy Priest would be the wand that drops off of Ignis in 25 man. It is a direct upgrade from this wand.

Pretty sure the damage part doesn't matter at all. It's the actual stats of the wand. The actual stats of the wand is an upgrade than this wand. When does a holy priest ever need to use their wand to kill things?

It surprises me that no-one has pointed out that this is the best wand for a warlock farming/boosting in Scholomance. For those who aren't familiar with the place, Risen Aberrations are immune to non-holy spells, wands and firestone procs.

I can finally bin the old Wand of Eternal Light from BRD.

My priest lost the roll on this to a mage tonight. It's a Holy wand, but he wanted it for the crit. It's funny because I never see a mage actually use a wand. It's more like a trinket. It just boosts their stats. As a priest I use my wand rather frequently, especially when I'm healing, to let my mana regen in between casts.

This wand has such awesome holy power, that it's immune to Shadowform.
