Pretty much best in slot for mail dps, with the only real comparison being Belt of the Betrayed.

I'd suggest going for this if your guild is willing to give you the runed orbs, otherwise, stick with Belt of the Betrayed, which is much easier to get if your guild can kill Heroic Thorim.

There are three similar ilvl 226 belts at the moment:

Belt of dragons, discussed here, is crafted and needs 6 Runed Orbs, which drop from UD25 bosses, but it is a random drop, it is not guaranteed to drop from all kills.

Belt of The Betrayed drops from Thorim in UD25

Belt of the Ardent Marksman can be bought with UD25 Emblems of Conquest

The Ardent Marksman provides Hit rating and more Agility, and it has a fair price of 28 emblems.

The other two belts are somehow very similar, apart from the fact that the Betrayed is more customizable with the gem slots, and it's cost is crazy, considering the amount of orbs and the two gems that you still need to add.

My advice is to spare your money and emblems and get your belt from Thorim, unless you do prefer the Ardent Marksman'stats, which is also worth its 28 emblems.

If you really want it, if your guild will provide the orbs, or if you're just bored of stacking gold with dailies and having nothing new to spend it in, i daresay the belt of dragons may be your final choice. Think it over very well though.

For enhancement shamans, this beats the other two belts hands down. Two gem slots means double +32 AP gems. Haste is now one of our best stats, slightly below crit and AP. If you can get this made, I would highly recommend it. Hasn't dropped for my guild yet, but fingers crossed.

Just got this crafted last night, finally. Runed Orbs have been dropping like candy for us in Ulduar. Can't beat the (with a belt buckle) three gem slots. Love the customization potential of this thing.

I have this socketed with Delicate Stormjewel, Delicate Dragon's Eye, and Delicate Scarlet Ruby. Gives me about 131 agi self buffed (surv), plus the socket bonus....i love it.

3.8k is a joke I have had mine in ah for 2.7k and not even a bit.. although people on my realm are insanly dumb haha and pay in upwards of 50g for an eternal fire and pay 30g for a level 65 green haha smolderthorn ftl
