It's also best in slot for Ret paladins sadly.

Looks like most neck piece with strength also have armor penetration, which is far from great for paladins.

With the introduction of Epic gems in 3.2, it's not worth satisfying the socket bonus if you are a class that gains direct AP from Agility (i.e. Rogues, Hunters, feral Druids and enhancement Shamans).

You'll be better off sticking a Cardinal Ruby of your choice (AP, Agi or ArP).

In addition, if you still need to satisfy a meta gem requirement, think twice before sticking the Nightmare Tear here - it's very likely that you'll have a 6 Agi socket bonus on your crafted boots/belt, provided you have one of those.
