You could always socket it with a Misty Forest Emerald to get the most pseudo-damage out of the slot while fulfilling the socket bonus and helping out towards the meta (CSD). It's a great opportunity to use the blue gem here instead of on another piece of loot such as your chest or leggings.

So far with the release of Ulduar this still seems to be the best neck piece out there and besides it is always fun to kill Malygos.
