I already posted this on the pages for the Nobles Deck and the quest but now that wowhead finally updated with my data, here's a copy paste for this page.
My client crashed when I went to upload my caches so here's the rundown:
http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=10972139545&postId=109709628521&sid
...
You're able to choose between 4 versions of the trinket that have either 90 str, 90 agi, 90 int, or 90 spr and they all share a proc that increases whichever of those 4 stats that you have most of by an additional 300. So for instance if you were a tank that took the agi one for dodge but have much higher str than agi, your proc would be 300 str. It could potentially cause a lot of headaches for classes that have two stats at similar levels but the higher one changes once raid buffed. The proc rate appears to be 100% with a 45 sec internal gcd giving it a 33% uptime or in other words ~190+ of the stat over time.

Darkmoon Card: Crusade's equivalent for enhancement shamans, hunters, rogues and feral druids in WOTLK. 390 total agility on proc will still be a pretty massive amount even with how stats scale as you level.

best choice 4 disc priests tho. Plus 300 Int for 15 seconds. we cold even gain mana back from our spells... or at least make our casts cost under 100 mana

Amazing trinket for paladins (int version). Approximately 71.13 mp5 for 15 seconds, asssuming 100% uptime of replenishment in raids. May seem worse than memento, but, using Divine Plea during the proc nets you an extra 1422 extra mana!

Does anyone know if the quest to turn in the Nobles Deck can be repeated to obtain more than one of the Greatness cards? (This mainly is a concern for hybrid classes, such as a Druid wanting the +Spirit one for Resto and +Strength/+Agility one for Feral.)
评论来自

If they do institute a cap on dodge, druid bears might not get so much use out of an agility proc. There has been talk on diminishing returns of dodge being instituted which would very much affect the "desire" to obtain this for dodging if you are already close to the cap (bears get lots of dodge from talents and stats), meaning that the proc of AGI wouldn't do as much for you.
More of an itemization concern, but one worth considering before dropping a ton of cash.

Lets pretend that I get this deck, turn it in. Bam +90 str
Then I get another deck, turn it in. Bam +90 agi
I know for a fact that Unique-Equip takes into account its item ID not item name, those 2 trinkets then having different stats SHOULD have different item IDs, and I SHOULD be able to equip them both.
That being the case, would I then be able to get a +600 double strength proc, or will they share the same internal cooldown?

I have this deck as well. Jaalii on Cho'gall. The gold sink for the mats for astronomical as someone said. 3 eternal life(70-100g each on Cho'gall) and 5-7 stacks of Lichbloom/Adder's tongue for the 12 icy pigment you need to make 6 snowfall ink. (These 2 herbs have the highest drop rate of icy pigment.)
These decks won't be cheap in the least bit, especially considering the cards can only be made by scribes and they aren't world drops.
Best of luck getting a deck, it is...by a long shot, better than any trinket in the game for melee DPS/hunters. Even better than Fury of the Five Flights and Mark of Norgannon.

My question is, Intellect is my highest stat, on proc, will I only get the bonus crit value from the increased intellect? I mean you will get the proc of 300 int, but it wont give you 4500 mana on uptime will it? just an extra 4500 mana on your maximum pool, not change how much you currently have, correct?
IE:
I currently am sitting at a pool of 12,000/20,000 and am in combat. I get this trinket to proc. Do I go to 16,500/24,500 or 12,000/24,500?

Confirmation that it can proc off both a Hot and a Dot.
The Hot proc only seems to go off if it actually heals damage (cast tons of rejuv's for example at full health and it never proced vs a direct heal at full health which did cause a proc). But the rejuv proced quickly when it actually healed damage...

There are currently 4 decks that you can get from the Darkmoon Faire for level 80's.
Darkmoon Card: Berserker!
Darkmoon Card: Illusion
Darkmoon Card: Death
The fourth card has 4 different versions, they have the same proc ability but the stat bonus is different:
Darkmoon Card; Greatness (90 Agi)
Darkmoon Card: Greatness (90 Str)
Darkmoon Card: Greatness (90 Spi)
Darkmoon Card: Greatness (90 Int)

Finally got this today, for anyone wanting to get this you will be spending a LOT of gold and time farming.
Each time you make a card via inscription its 1/32 or 3% chance you'll get a specific card, so when you come down to the final few cards you will want to start looking on the Auction house (alliance and horde) for the final cards. Its cheaper to buy them than try to get them at that point.
Just to give you an idea of how many cards you'll need to make, I made 42 darkmoon cards (~25k gold) and managed to get 6/8 with some nobles duplicates (which sold VERY well) and the other 2 i bought off alliance AH and had to get friends to help me transfer it to horde side.
Good luck to anyone going for this.

This card can proc off
Mend Pet
. That being the case you may want to avoid casting for the

in the 45 seconds before a boss pull. This will prevent you from wasting your proc and having to wait the 45sec internal cool down before it can proc again.

Maybe stupid question but i've read that this trinket shares the same CD than
https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=42990

i wasn't sure where to post this but i was wondering which would you choose if you were a tanking DK that also enjoyed pvp?
the agi one would add to my armor, dodge and give close to 1.5crit, plus on proc 300str which isn't bad for either tank or pvp.
the str one would add 180ap and parry rating, 180ap would be around 12dps increase i believe which would help with threat, plus 300str on proc.
str deck would be the clear winner if i was straight dps DK but i really enjoy tanking, but love me some arena.
i wish i knew the agi-dodge ratio but i don't, i know that 1str=.14dps.. ..?
anyways i know some people frown upon these type's of comments but im really quite unsure either deck would be good, i'd just like to make the right decision cause it sure wasn't cheap getting six cards with two more to go.

I already have DMC: Death which I got for next-to-free before the passive haste got changed to crit. I have the herbs and the eternals to make probably a couple darkmoon decks, and really want to get DMC: Greatness. However, I need to know if the procs trigger a shared cooldown, because as we all know the proc on DMC: Death is jaw-droppingly awful. If DMC: Death causes the proc on Greatness to go on CD then having both is worthless to me.
Does anyone have more than one Darkmoon Card yet? Has anyone tested to see if the procs share cooldowns? I opened a ticket and the gm told me that he had no clue. I kind of need to know this before I waste 6-10k gold worth of herbs. Help!

IT will only proc
STRENGTH or AGILITY or INTELLECT or SPIRIT
Which ever is higher
so for u it will either be agility or strength depending on which route u went for gear
DOES NOT PROC STAMINA

Got this card yesterday and I must say that as a Hunter it was worth the gold I spent on it. A word to others who might want this card:
- Check prices of the individual cards verses a straight up deck. On my server the completed decks cost a lot more than the individual cards. I scooped out the AH for a few days and found the average price of the cards were about 1,100-1,300g (YMMV on your server), while I saw full decks going for around 15,000-16,000g.
With a little calculating and waiting for multiple cards (like multiple aces or sevens) to go up I was able to buy all the cards individually for about 11,000g. That's about 4,000-5,000g saved (epic flier money right there) by doing a bit of scouting out. So remember...don't go for the easy buyout when you first see it...might save yourself a good chunk of money for a few minutes of AH scanning. :)

Through my calculations, for an SV Hunter, this is the
NUMBER ONE
trinket in the game.
1)
Darkmoon Card: Greatness
2)
Mirror of Truth
3)
Fury of the Five Flights
I will briefly explain my math
:
(know that 1 AGI equates to 1.3 AGI for an SV hunter due to Lightning Reflexes and Expose Weakness.)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DMC:G
- Uptime = 15 seconds out of 51 seconds (average) = 29.4% up-time.
300 AGI proc yields 390 AGI for SV Hunters.
390 AGI proc * .294 uptime = averaged 114.6 AGI = (to compare to FotFF and MoT)
229 AP
.
Passive 90 AGI yields 117 AGI for SV Hunters, which equates to
234 AP
.
Adding the Proc to the Passive benefit, we get 229 + 234 =
463 AP value
.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
MoT
- Uptime = 10 / 51 = 19.6%
proc of 1000 * .196 = averaged
196 AP
.
84 passive crit = about
168 AP
.
168 AP + 196 AP =
364 AP
.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
FotFF
=
320 AP
.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1)
DMC:G
= 463 passive AP
2)
MoT
= 364 passive AP
3)
FotFF
= 320 passive AP
And by passive AP, I mean constant-generalized Attack Power. I realize 1 Crit or 1 AGI(SV) might not equal EXACTLY 2 AP in DPS, but yes, they are roughly the same.
The idea here is to see the general difference between the converted AP's
, and since the trinket's converted AP's are -dramatically- different (44 AP between MoT and FotFF), one can safely say that one is better than the other.

Through my calculations, for an SV Hunter, this is the NUMBER ONE trinket in the game.
1) Darkmoon Card: Greatness
2) Grim Toll
3) Mirror of Truth
4) Fury of the Five Flights
Greatness
is by and far the best SV trinket one can get, however, the rest of this list is a bit confusing, primarily because the justification of trinket ratings is not given. Firstly,
Grim Toll
should only be used if you are below hit cap. The 83 hit the item provides is its only merit - armor penetration is a very lowly valued stat, and should
always
be placed below agility, crit, and ranged attack power. Secondly,
Fury of the Five Flights
is generally superior to
Mirror of Truth
unless you are extremely low on crit and need the boost, as it provides a constant 320 RAP - assuming you can ever win the roll on it.
I have written up a thread to show all my calculations. That can be found here on my guild's forum:
Clockwork Forums: Trinket Priority
Dead link.
1) DMC:G = 463 passive AP
2) Grim Toll (about 400 passive AP)
3) MoT = 364 passive AP
4) FotFF = 320 passive AP
And by passive AP, I mean constant-generalized Attack Power.
Without being able to access the thread you linked to, I really have no idea how you got some of these numbers. I also don't know what "constant-generalized Attack Power" means, especially when you refer to it as "passive AP." When I think of passive AP I think of the attack power an item provides by passively being equipped, rather than procced (which would only be Greatness). Don't suppose you can fix that link? (The thread might just be in a members-only area, perhaps it can be moved to a public forum.)
1 Armor Pen is ROUGHLY = to 2 AP
No. This is a horrible conversion, and leads to hunters gearing for stats they shouldn't even look at (when compared to crit/RAP). Armor penetration is one of the most devalued stats an SV hunter can pick up, for all sorts of reasons:
Explosive shot, your primary damage-dealing attack, is not affected by ArP
. Neither is serpent sting (as well as arcane and chimera shot for you MM hunters reading). If you choose to utilize ArP, you're buffing only your auto-shot and steady shot - the latter of which was just nerfed.
ArP is percentage based rather than a flat amount
. Let's say you're supporting 10% (154) ArP. Raid bosses have 13083 armor. You'll effectively reduce their armor by 1308 - not bad, but not that great either when compared to items with straight agility/crit/RAP - which only your steady shot and auto-shot will benefit from. And that's assuming you didn't bring a warrior, which leads me to my next point...
ArP is applied to the mobs
current
armor
. If a warrior puts down all five sunders, totalling 3925 armor reduction, you will then be reducing 10% of 9158 , which comes out to 916 - a net loss in armor reduction.
So to reiterate, ArP sucks. If you are ever presented with a trinket or piece of gear, always go with the item that has agi/crit/RAP first - unless you need the hit.

are the best combinations for PVP and it's much easyer to get.
No need to troll here, guys, and confuse other players.
Few % of crit is crap in PVP, not only becaurse we meet healers with 1000 resi nowdays, but also cuz rogue has Cold Blood skill. For strong mutilate, eviscerate (using macro with /cast cold blood /cast eviscerate), rupture and garrote rogue needs pure AP.
Also resi is needed in PVP or HP increase.
Ask any 2200+ rating rogue and he will say you that you are wrong.
Even in PVE this trinket is bad for mutilate and combat rogue - I saw this trinket on a PVE mutilate rogue with full Naxx gear, and he did 1800 dps in 5 ppl heroic dungeon - same, like me with PVP mutilate spec and with my blue trinket.

this isnt the best trinket for survival hunters, looking at dps:
you get roughly 1.35 dps pr agility so Darkmoon card: greatness will provide roughly this amount of dps
90*1.35 = 121.5 90 passive agility multiplyed by 1.35
300*1.35/30 = 13.5 the proc, 300 agility multiplyed by 1.35 then devided by 30 due to the cooldown, 45 sec cooldown, buff is up for 15 secs.
121.5+13.5=135 adding these numbers will give roughly 135 dps.
some of the other trinkets avalible for hunters are; Fury of the five flights, bandits insigna, grim toll, and then mirror of truth
Bandits insigna will provide you with this amount of dps, in raids with all debuffs on the boss (average basis)
1 attack power will roughly give you 0.48 dps
190*0,48= 91,2 190 passive attackpower multiplyed by 0,48
3500/45=77.7778 the the proc, this is tricky, I have decided to lower the proc down from 5000 to 3500 due to resists and all that, but I think this is a rough estimate for an average hit, decided by the cooldown
91.2+77.78=168.98 adding these numbers and you have the final dps, about 30 more than darkmoon card: greatness
now its time to fury of the five flights:
once again, 1 attack power will roughly give you 0.48 dps
320*0.48=153.6 getting 20 stacks of the buff will give you 320 attack power (20*16) then simply multiply these numbers and you have the dps.
Grim Toll:
I would reconmend using this trinket if you lack hit, these calculations are based on you using the hit on this trinket to get capped.
1 hit rating gives you roughly 1.36 dps and 1 armor pennetration gives you about 0.88 dps
83*1,36 = 112.88 83 passive hit rating multiplyed by 1.36, once again, this only affects your dps untill you have 8% hit, everything above it is a waste and you wont gain any dps of hit after that.
612*0.88/35 = 15.3874 612 armor pennetration for 10 seconds, multiply by 0.88 and devide by 35, the amount of time you wont have the buff.
112.9+15.4=128.3 adding the numbers and you have the dps.
and now Mirror of truth!
crit provides a survival hunter with 0.78 dps and attack power 0.48 dps
84*0.78=65.52 84 passive crit rating multiplyed by 0.78
1000*0.48/35 = 13.7143 the proc, is up for 10 seconds so amount of attack power (1000) multiplyed by the amount of dps you gain pr attack power, devided by 35, the amount of time where you dont have the buff.
65.52+14.6=79.2343 adding the numbers
looking at these calculations, I would say the best trinkets for a survival hunter is fury of the five flights and bandits insigna.

Replying about the above poster's comment on the viability of Survival Hunter trinkets, here are some numbers generated from the widely accepted Hunter DPS spreadsheet (
Link to Elitest Jerk's Hunter DPS spreadsheet
). These numbers are generated on a Patchwerk-like fight requiring no aggro dumps or movement.
Assumptions: Troll Hunter, Naked except for
Envoy of Mortality
with a
Heartseeker Scope
, Any 15% Quiver and
Frostbite Bullets
. No raid buffs, untalented Ferocity pet,
2/18/51 build
, Shot priorities of Serpent Sting > Explosive Shot > Kill Shot > Aimed Shot > Steady Shot.
** I purposely left out Grim Toll, as its proc is not great for hunters, and scales against us when partied or in raid with other classes that reduce mob armor.
Here are the numbers:
(no trinket used in second slot)
No Trinkets: 896.28 dps
+0 dps
Mirror
: 928.96
+33 dps
Loatheb
: 933.95
+38 dps
FoFF
: 949.97
+54 dps
Insignia
: 957.71
+61 dps
Greatness
: 963.62
+67 dps
Now gear the hunter with a nice set of 25 man gear (
My Armory
Missing several best in slots). Talent the pet accordingly
Link to build
and get raid buffed (best of most buffs assumed by spreadsheet).
Here are the numbers:
(no trinket used in second slot)
No Trinkets: 5663.68 dps
+0 dps
Mirror
: 5799.99
+136 dps
Loatheb
: 5777.65
114 dps
FoFF
: 5818.88
+155 dps
Insignia
: 5810.60
+147 dps
Greatness
: 5892.30
+228 dps
Agility from Greatness scales with
Lightning Reflexes
, and again with other class buffs. Behind it are the two AP trinkets, and
FoFF
is a little situational if the mob goes untargetable or you're forced to stop dps and lose your stacks.
TL;DR
: Greatness is currently best in slot (3.0.8) and based on trinkets known in 3.1.0 on PTR it will continue to be for several more months.

All i can say for feral (bear) druids and this card is Wewt! This is an amazing trinket. I dont care what percentage the proc rate is, this card, during an active raid WILL proc every minute. That means in addition to the flat 90 agl you get, you will get an additional 300 to boot. As a bear i'm not much of a stam fanatic and prefer to go with avoidance/threat (agility takes care of both) save for fights where you need the xtra stam (frost resist-stam gemmed for those occasions).
Once you get to around 39% dodge and 40'ish crit chance diminishing returns becomes much more noticeable. However, given that, at slightly over 42% dodge self buffed, this card when it procs will still add slightly over 5% dodge and crit to my character. As often as it procs this card is well worth whatever you pay for it (the deck is going for around 7-8k on my server atm), and i dont see myself replacing this trinket anytime soon. I doubt ulduar will give me another trinket to replace this one with.

Since Ulduar has been out for a couple weeks now, I think one can still say with confidence that this is practically best in slot for some classes.
I have a few questions though. Firstly, as horde, does it matter if the faire is in Goldshire? It starts up in a couple weeks in Goldshire for my server and I was hoping that I could still get this turned in there. Secondly, I assume that there isn't any kind of reputation requirement for turning this trinket in?
And thirdly, this is more for fellow Survival hunters specifically: Currently I'm using Fury of the Five Flights from OS and the Pyrite Infuser from the first boss in 10 man Ulduar. However, I'm way way over hit cap at this point and therefore all the hit on the Pyrite Infuser is worthless to me, but the 1234 or so AP proc is still very nice. So my question is, when I get the Greatness trinket, which would be more wise to replace? Fury of the Five Flights? Or Pyrite Infuser? As of now I'm planning on using Greatness and FotFF simply because it's a practiaclly constant 320 AP which is really nice. But any further insight as to which combination is better would greatly appreciated.

So I've read...but I'm still unsure.
The three trinkets I have in possession is the Darkmoon Greatness (90+ AGI), Five Flights and Mirror of Truth.
Which of these three would be the best combination for a SV hunter?

Ok, as a DK tank would I benefit more from the strength to parry or agility to dodge and armor?

Does the proc effect stack/share a cooldown with Mirror of Truth?

Would two DMC: Greatness' (one agility, one intellect) work? Or would they share a CD? I heard they did not share a CD, but could overlap procs? Can anyone confirm? Thanks

I admittedly am too lazy to scan through all of the posts to see if this has been posted already, but interestingly enough if you are in Ghost Form with the minor inscription, the healing will proc this continuously as you travel =P

This is still a great trinket. Sadly I suspect many people are replacing it for a higher level trinket, not because it will boost their dps but rather because it will boost their GearScore!

I'm still confused between Darkmoon Card: Greatness and Wrathstone as a Survival hunter.

Those with terrible luck on drops unite, this once again becomes almost godly with the recent stat changes. 180 base AP and a 600 AP proc, along with the crit from Agi (excluding Agi modifiers based on class) again put this trinket high up on the rankings.

I am Greatness: Bask in my glory, my power, my authority. Let them guide you to victory!
Greatness symbolises the desire to stand above others and excel in all aspects, and employ your wisdom to rule them.
Authority, leadership and command infuse this card in the upright position.
Inflexibility, corruption and egocentrism infuse this card in the reversed position.

By far the greatest dps trinket of all time. Looking back at WotLK, no other trinket has lasted through more patches than Greatness. It was BiS until ToC 25 when Death's Choice was available. Even in ICC I was sporting Greatness along with Death's Choice as a survival hunter...the agi procs scaled so insanely well with the 17% agi increase that surv hunters got.
This trinket really WAS Greatness. I salute to you, DMC:G!
