This is the only purple shirt I have found that actually looks like a real purple and not some horrific variation of pink. It's the closest match you'll get to things like Wildheart, Devout and Dreadmist.

It's a hugely useful pattern, and I recommend tailors hunt it down for the novelty alone.

Same design as the Dark Silk Shirt except different colors. It's a rich deep hue and is popular among vain players (like me). Typically sells for 5g on AH but if you spam for a tailor to make this, you're likely to get one around 1-2g. All I did on a busy night was spam for a tailor to make me one and he offered me 1g. Small but quick profit for him, vanity item for me. Win-win.

This is considered the "best" shirt to many, because it's the only shirt to be crafted from a rare (blue) pattern. Generally about 5-7g in the AH.

I had no luck selling this pattern before I quit, but some advice from one tailor to another - wait quite a long time before giving this out to a guildie or selling it. Very hard to get, and some people will pay hundreds of gold for it depending on your server. Unfortunately, the shirt itself sells for a small fraction of that.

Mages might find this shirt to be the best to use to cover your elbows in Mage Tier 10.

I finally got this pattern on the auction house for 50 g. I would have paid 100g! I have been looking and farming for it for months. I sell the shirts on our server for 60g. I don't make a lot of them to keep the price and demand high. It's total vanity, but seriously the shirt is one of the best looking in the game.

This shirt, among with all other shirts in the game has been nerfed to item level 1 in a recent hotfix. Presumably because people were using shirts to gain an item level advantage to be able to enter heroics.

This shirt looks perfect with the Dreadmist robe - the colours match, and it adds nice sleeves with cuffs to the robe. If you plan on levelling a clothie in style, pick one of these up with your heirlooms.

Purple is (was?) often associated with royalty and nobility due to the rarity of blue/purple dyes, once affordable only by the elite.

on the server elune i have been getting 500g-1k a peice for these. great money-maker. the pattern is upwards of 20k... of course elune is at the point where 1g in cata is 1s in classic....

It might just be the insanity of my realm or that this pattern has true value but this specific one sells for about 100 gold in the AH. So in order to clear up that which is still foggy, where does this pattern drop?

I got mine from one of the graves in Zul'Ferrak. I didn't realise that it sold for that much, even though the thought crossed me to check AH. However, it looks absolutely sweet, and its cheap in materials, so i should be able to get a bit for each shirt :)

I found the pattern in my inventory as a lvl 35 doing SM runs
I imagine the only way i got it was in the SM.
Shortly after i found it i was barraged by my 60 guild mates to hand it over

Im on Terenas server, alliance, u collect the mats i'll make one for you for free. Look up Kameriara. Its a great shirt, but they are selling for 3-5.5g for the shirts on my server, very over priced, also our pattern is going for 120g-450g depending on the week. Very over priced, but if ya like one send me the mats, i'll make it. :D

I picked up this pattern in the RFD off of the spider boss. the recipe is blue because the drop is so rare, but the shirt itself is not a peice of superior gear. I can make this shirt on the server Exodar, horde, send an ingame message to Kashmir

I just saw this shirt on the AH (Lightning's Blade), it had NO sockets. What's up with this shirt? Is it socketed on some servers & not others ... if so, which servers does it have sockets? Did it at one time have sockets & they altered it in a patch?

This shirt does NOT have sockets.

I know because I just bought it for 140g on Venture Co server, made one, and NO SOCKETS. I have no idea why stupid Thottbot shows an item description (top right) with three sockets, but that is totally wrong.

Sorry to dissappoint. Imagine how pissed I was when I found out. Well, at least the shirt looks cool :oP

It's okay looking, but IMO a Stylish Black Shirt is much better looking. Unless your doing a purple theme with your wardrobe, why is this so important? If it were used in a quest or in making another item, maybe I could see it.

Honestly, I want to know (and don't just say "cause it's so PIMP" because I've heard that. I'm not playing Huggy Bear and neither are you).
