Anybody know how this works with improved slice and dice talent points?

What will be the outcome of using this Glyph while having 50% inscrease SnD from talents:

Option 1:
(8+3)*1.5 = 16.5
(12+3)*1.5 = 22.5
(15+3)*1.5 = 27
(18+3)*1.5 = 31.5
(21+3)*1.5 = 36

Option 2:
8*1.5+3 = 15
12*1.5+3 = 21
15*1.5+3 = 25.5
18*1.5+3 = 30
21*1.5+3 = 34.5

Can somebody in Beta test this for us please?

I've been using this all day today and my SnD times look like this (with 2pc T4 set bonus, 3/3 Imp SnD and the glyph):

1 Point - 22 seconds
2 Points - 26 seconds
3 Points - 31 seconds
4 Points - 35 seconds
5 Points - 40 seconds

Needless to say, this glyph is fantastic and if--like me--you are a combat Rogue, you should make an effort to get a hold of one of these ASAP, as chances are you will be using it for a long time to come.

I would like to note that you CANNOT stack several glyphs of the same type to increase the effect. Upon attempting to inscribe a duplicate Glyph at the Lexicon of Power you recieve the message:

"That Glyph is already inscribed in your spellbook."

No good for muti rofue. At least i have found that the extra 3 seconds works only when you cast SnD, not when its refreshed with CttC.

To 'prove' this, well no screenies, but when i cast SnD with 5 cp its 37 sec, and when it's refreshed it's only 34 sec.

Though I'm not sure about this and would be glad to hear more about this.

Edit: After testing this with a dummy, there is no difference, I've just checked something wrong at raids and stuff. Sorry, my bad.

I find this glyph to be a worthy addition to an assassination rogues glyph set with the 2pc t10 set bonus.

Reason being.

It essentially gives you 60 energy and one GCD right off the bat,

From stealth

Garrote, 1 combo point on target
Slice and dice for 11 total seconds
just enough time to use Tricks then hunger for blood and then 2 muts or 1 mut and a shiv for 5 combo points
then an envenom to renew your SnD. Without I find it necessary to mutilate to 3 points then SnD to have enough time to get all the buffs applied and 5 combot points before your first envenom, this saves a nice chunk of energy.

(Keep in mind this may only work with the 2pc t10 bonus)

4.0.1 SnD prime glyph gives 3 more seconds.
4.0.3 SnD prime glyph changed and gives 6 more seconds.
More worth taking, less GCD and energy (unless specced into Relentless Strikes) to spend on Slice and Dice.

This glyph is working strangely with the Assassination talent Cut to the Chase as of me posting this. Without the glyph, my 5 point SnD does 21 seconds and Cut to the Chase will refresh to this duration. With the glyph, my SnD does 27 seconds at 5 points. If I have this glyphed and I refresh SnD using Cut to the Chase, it will refresh and display 23s (though that may be 24s).

Perhaps they are using the old value when paired with this talent?

This is because Cut To The Chase will only refresh Slice and Dice up to its unglyphed duration and will keep the remainder of the duration of the previous Slice and Dice that you just overwrote (up to three seconds), which is why you're seeing 23s and 24s occasionally (Slice and Dice "ticks" every three seconds).

In Mists of Pandaria this glyph has changed.

OLD: Glyph of Slice and Dice - Increases the duration of Slice and Dice by 6 sec.

NEW: Glyph of Shiv - Reduces the cooldown of your Shiv ability by 2 sec.
