correct me if im wrong, but this gives 100 extra damage to one skill, while dk's "libram" gives 400 extra damage to 2 skills that are as important to dks than cs is to pallies? oO

This libram gives 18.96 DPS while Venture Co. Libram of Retribution only gives you 12.28 DPS. Also, the Venture Co. libram's buff would usually have less uptime, since it is less DPS than crusader strike and CS should always take priority in your rotation.

I don't know about you, but I'd rather stick with my rotation, prioritizing the MOST DPS spells over the WORST.

The crit effect can increase damage from ALL of your main dps abilities as well as physical crits and seal of blood/martyr.

Unless you show me some serious differences in controlled environments then I am going to stick with the vent co. libram.

for all the people who say the venture co. librams are better. at least for a retri, this would be the best choice in a PVP .

a retri is all about burst dmg (sure, the fact that the new talents and glymphs drastically reduce the mana problems of a ret, its undeniable that one can't maintain his maximum dmg output for a long period of time, so all battles must be kept short) and that is the most important reason why this is the best for a ret.

for dps, the venture co. is much more superior imo.

I swear this thing says "Increases the damage dealt by Crusader Strike by 127." in-game for me... It says 116 on the armory... Will double check when I get home.

The name of this libram sounds like it would be more appropriate for Holy than Ret.

This Libram will be further effected by the upcoming Sanctified Seals change (+15% to Crusader Strike).

Currently, on the PTR, when specced Sanctity of Battle and Art of War, Libram of Radiance adds +146.1 Damage to CS. Adding in the PvP gloves, it's +153.4.

This, along with all relics that drop in 25 Naxx, will be purchasable for 25 Emblems of Valor, for those of us unlucky enough to not see them drop. Easier than having to run old content.

Is it just me or is 81 damage to Divine Storm (https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=38362) better than 115dmg to Crusader Strike if there is more than one target? And there is more than one target on 90% of fights. Still don't see myself spending emblems or dkp on this.

Right now, the furious and deadly pvp librams are generally considered to give a higher sustained dps output. Interestingly, this libram may end up with an indirect buff when 3.2 goes live, since the patch notes currently state that CS will move to a 4s CD and be 75% of weapon damage. We'll have to see if CS remains prominent in the FCFS rotation due to its lower damage output, but might want to hang on to this until the patch hits.

Does this stack with the 5% crusader Strike bonus on the Hateful Gladiator's Vindication gloves? Or does it merely pop on top of it? (IE, do I get an extra 5% of 150, or just the 150?)

Assuming this won't be changed to reflect the reduced damage and cooldown of Crusader Strike in 3.2, this libram will soon become a roughly 36.5 DPS increase.

Just noticed what might be an error in the information for this libram; on this page, the bonus damage is listed as 78.75, yet in-game I see the tooltip as increasing the damage by 98. Is the tooltip incorrect, or is it recorded incorrectly here on Wowhead?

Also, a question of my own; does the damage that is added by this libram get added to the base damage, or is it added to the final damage after all other calculations? Because if it's the latter, then I believe this libram to be superior to the Libram of Discord.

The reason I have come to this conclusion is that because of Crusader Strike's 4-second cooldown, and Divine Storm's 10-second cooldown, you do 2.5 CS's for every DS (or if we keep to whole numbers, for every two Divine Storms, we do five Crusader Strikes - this is all, of course, based on you doing each attack on cooldown every time, which is largely possible most of the time if you follow standard FCFS-clash rotation). Assuming that the libram's bonus damage is added after all other calculations, this means that, in a 20-second period:

Divine Storm * 2 = 235 * 2 = 470

Crusader Strike * 5 = 98 * 5 = 490

I know this is all very much based on assumptions that could well be flawed, but that is exactly why I am posting this; if I am wrong, please correct me. I'm currently spending my Conquest emblems on off-spec gear and holding off from buying this Libram until I know whether or not is an upgrade or not, since at present all it represents to me is a very minor increase to the passive healing component of DS, which whilst good for the group, is so minor that I'm thinking that the higher DPS option is the better one as it stands.

And before anyone else might mention it; yes, I'm aware that these discussions might seem a little pointless when these librams are compared to the SoV/SoCorr libram from Triumph emblems, or the Librams from PvP, but none of those are going to be immediately within the grasp of a good many people (I don't do arena on my paladin, and myself and others are likely looking more at T9 pieces than the Libram as the first Triumph purchase).

I would thank blizzard for making all of our DPS librams look the same.
This libram, deadly gladiator's and valiance all have the same damn icon.
It was too much effort to change a little the color?
