This wand is currently the best wand available for dps casters. Drops from Anub'Rekhan in Heroic: Naxxramas. The hit is great, but as the above poster noted...it should be the Ungemmed Wand of the Nerubians, haha!

This is the only level 80 Epic wand with hit rating.

As of 3.1 and the spirt % = crit, I think the Plague Igniter (Which drops off Grobbulus (or Gluth) is better for FFB Mages. Unless of course you realllllly need the hit.

Lower % drop rate at a Low (15% - 24%) compared to this Gemmed (Ungemmed) wand having a Medium (25% - 50%) drop rate off a much easier boss (Anub'Rekhan (or Gluth) will get you this one in your inventory much faster however.
