I found a Goblin in the Badlands who trains Horde characters to make Solid Iron Maul. His name is Jazzrik, he is a level 38 Blacksmithing Supplier; located in the same camp as "..." the Exiled. Im pretty sure that he is AH friendly.

I can confirm everything that Yoshi said.

From a practical standpoint this is the first really good mid-level two-handed weapon that blacksmiths can make. It doesn't even require any particularly rare materials. For me, at least, it's a solid seller that doesn't give me any headaches on the component side.

Note also that while this weapon is quite powerful for the level, it is also very slow. This makes it a strong candidate for an Iron Counterweight.

ok the coordinates of the blacksmith supplies vendor in the badlands is 43 53 approx. he is rightat the base of the mountain that's in the middle of the map that's south of angor fortress for those without coordnates, I'm horde, but this may work for both sides. bought it for 27s

Do the plans take a really long time to respawn? I checked Jazzrik for them repeatedly over a period of nine hours, and never saw them. I also checked the guy at Ghost Walker post, and he didn't have them, either. I wonder if these people stopped selling them?

I went back to Ghostwalker Post again the next day and found the plans on Muuran :)
