I just want to take the time to inform everyone on Keal'Thas that the blade was actually worth the asking price. I recieved tells saying such things as "I would pay maybe 250g for something like that." Then going on to heckle me over general chat. The only ones that would pay that amount were the people in my guild.
If you get anything nice on Keal'Thas dont try to sell it. Cheapskates!

Almost always up for auction on the Eonar server and has a price tag of over 1000 gold. This sword is excellent for a mage because of its intellect and spell bonuses.

The Elemental Attuned Blade is attained only from turning in 3 Abyssal Signets (or 1 if it's the first time you're completing the quest) for a Sack of Spoils The chance for you to obtain the sword from it is less than .5% so don't get your hopes up.

To get an Abyssal Signet you must first collect the full Twilight Cultist set and summon a Templar for a Lesser Windstone. Kill the Templar to obtain an Abyssal Crest (easily soloable).

To summon a Duke you will need to obtain 3 Abyssal Crests and a Large Brilliant Shard. Hand it in to obtain a Twilight Cultist Medallion of Station which you must put on, along with the full Twilight Cultist set to summon a Duke. The dukes drop the Abyssal Signets.

This sword is one of te rarest ones in the game so if you have it dont keep it sell it beacuse on my server it sold for 19.99k gold so realy it is not worth keeping bacuse with 19k you could buy lvl 80 epics wich are alot beter than this one

This sword shares a model with nine other swords. Here's a list of all of them as well as their color/texture (yeah, this is for the RPers out there):

-Continuum Blade - Purple with a misty glow. IMO the coolest of the bunch - except maybe for the Vibro Blade.

-Blade of the Archmage - Purple, but without the glow of the Continuum Blade.

-Elemental Attuned Blade - About the same as Blade of the Archmage, but with a different hilt.

-Fiery Retributer - Orange with a bright glow.

-Phantom Blade - Clear blue. Goes very well with various enchants, most notably +7 weapon damage. Click here to see that particular effect. Other screenshots on that page have other effects.

-Renataki's Soul Conduit - Arguably the ugliest of these blades. Has a horrible yellow color. Might be corrected with some kind of enchant, but I can't think what might fix it.

-Wushoolay's Poker - Green. Actually rather pretty - might look prettier with an enchant on it, though, as usual.

-Ethereum Phase Blade - Clear blue, like the Phantom Blade. If you can't afford that one or don't want to spend more than you have to, go for this one as they're nearly identical for RPing purposes.

-Pilfered Ethereal Blade - Same as Blade of the Archmage/Elemental Attuned Blade.

-Vibro Sword - Orange with a bright yellow tip, as if recently forged. Still see-through, though, so it makes for quite a nice looking sword. My personal favorite, even over the Continuum Blade.

Ok, back in vanilla WoW my guild helped me through original content to help level me up and I am a big quester so mob-killing, for me, was at a minimum. Needless to say, I never saw this. Bun in honor of Wowhead's fourth birthday today, I was browsing old "What's New" updates and came across this... Maybe it's just because I'm too big of a Zelda fanboy but... does anyone else notice that the icon bears striking resemblance to the tempered sword upgrade of "Link to the Past"? Meh, maybe it's just me...

This is easily a contender for the rarest "obtainable" item in the game, since it's BoE. Even rare BoE blues that don't drop anymore like Miner's Hat of the Deep are more likely to still be in someones bank.

Seems that its just a new world drop they added for Silithus. But if you check out the loot table for Sack of Spoils (from the Abyssal Signet turn in quest) someone got it from that. To get the signet you have to summon and kill a 5-10 man 62 elite.

3: I do not want to reduce much my chances to crit hit (about 56ish mana = 1% chance to crit hit) and so add INT enchants where possible to retain that

hasn't dropped for me yet. You get it from a Sack of Spoils from Bor Wildmane in Silithus for turning in 3 Abyssal Signets.

Nice upgrade blade for Warlocks, Mages and Paladins.

Sageblade > Sageclaw > EAB > Mageblade

For lvl 58, this is really not that good anymore....several uncommon (green) outland drops offer better spell/heal dmg. and have a variety of higher stats (but admittedly no mana regen).

I would think at most people would pay 100 gold for it...and that amount ONLY if they were really in love with the graphic. Most would not go more then 25 gold in my opinion(about average price of the potential nexus crystal :). Maybe a protection paladin woudl pay a good chunk for it (not many +spell dmg. swords early on in Outlands.....the diamond core sledgemace about the earliest weapon that beats this I can think of)

Had this from my 5th sack of spoils on Bloodhoof EU just last week. Really lucky that day as the sack I got earlier that day had a Sword of Zeal in it.

Probably the best one hand a caster can get outside of 40 man stuff.

Got one on my first Abyssal Signet turn-in. Happily flaunted so to my guild.
It wasn't even my Medallion of Station for the summon, either >.>
Anyhow, the next day I sold for 600g to a Mage who just levelled to 58.
He said he was going to get the Spell Damage enchant right then, as well.
Lucky guy ^^
It got me enough gold for my Epic mount (Finally!) so I'm not worried about having undersold.

Everyone comparing this to raid drops belongs on a short bus.

OF COURSE bloodcaller and Azuresong are better BUT not everyone can just walk into MC or up to Hakkar and grab one of those.

A friend of mine on Hakkar horde side loot that beauty on a Twilight humanoid yesterday and sold in AH at 1200g buyout. Very nice stats and skin for a BoE, indeed. Maybe it is a new world-drop epic boe or only twilight-drop / sack of spoils drop, dunno.

Its not bad for a paladen who cant raid. Sure its nothing compared to Azersong, Domanice or Bloodcaller, but only raiders have access to those. While we'er at it, you could compare Azersong to Thunderfury or Domanice to Bringer of the Balck Dawn (should it exist). Because only the chosen few get those items, raiders like you and me settle for the MC loot. Just as casuals settel for this weapon.

I've had this since like a week after the twightlight guys (dukes ect) were added to sithilus, using on my mage (delekhan). Was first on server with it and althought i've seen other on AH I can't find the person who's using it, still haven't gotten my azuresong yet, but only like me and a couple other in guild still need azuresong now :-)

Just like it says, came in the "Sack of spoils". Elemental Attuned Blade, 5 Major Healing Pots, 1 Major Mana, 1 Scroll of Agility, 5 Alterac Swiss, 2 Morning Glory Dew, and some silver. Its now in the AH.
